Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine an antenna switching capability for the UE that relates to a capability of the UE to switch an antenna for a plurality of bands that are included in a band combination of a set of band combinations supported by the UE, wherein at least two bands of the plurality of bands correspond to a first radio access technology (RAT) and a second RAT respectively. The UE may signal the set of band combinations and the antenna switching capability to a base station. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide for measurement of reference signals by an aerial user equipment (UE), and reporting of the measurements to a serving base station. An aerial UE may initiate one or more measurements based on one or more height thresholds, and may transmit measurement reports that provide an indication of height along with measured parameters. An aerial UE may also provide an indication of a number of other aerial UEs or other aerial vehicles that are detected within a vicinity of the aerial UE, Reports of measurements (e.g., reference signal received power (RSRP) measurements) by multiple UEs for multiple different locations and heights may be used to determine coverage maps and/or drone density maps for multiple different heights or altitudes.

The UE completes selection or reselection of the target cell or completes the connectivity with the target cell, based on the cell type.

Abstract: Systems and techniques are provided for wireless communication. A first network entity (e.g., a user equipment (UE)) can receive information indicative of a configuration for multicast discontinuous reception (DRX). The information can be received from a second network entity (e.g., a base station). The first network entity can perform unicast data communication using one or more multicast DRX cycles of a plurality of multicast DRX cycles corresponding to the configuration, wherein the unicast data communication is performed between the first network entity and the second network entity. A second network entity (e.g., a base station) can transmit, to a user equipment (UE), information indicative of a configuration for multicast discontinuous reception (DRX). The second network entity can perform unicast data communication with the UE using one or more multicast DRX cycles of a plurality of multicast DRX cycles corresponding to the configuration.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described in which a user equipment (UE) may receive a feedback configuration for providing feedback for downlink communications from a base station. Based on the feedback configuration, the UE may determine whether one or more feedback processes has a multicast-only configuration for multicast data communications, or a multicast-or-unicast configuration for either multicast data communications or unicast data communications. The UE may decode one or more transmissions associated with the one or more feedback processes based on the multicast-only or multicast-or-unicast configuration, and may determine a feedback codebook based on the multicast-only or multicast-or-unicast configuration of the one or more feedback processes. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. that support preconfigured uplink resources (PUR) in wireless communications. A base station may communicate that support for PUR is available, and may allocate PUR resources to a user equipment (UE) based on requests from the UE. The UE may receive an indication that the base station supports PUR, such as via a system information block (SIB), determine to request PUR, and transmit a PUR request message to the base station. A PUR response from the base station may indicate configuration, or reconfiguration of PUR allocation for the UE that may be used for uplink transmissions, or release of the PUR allocation.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Some wireless communications systems may support multicast communications, which may relate to a multicast service (for example, a multimedia broadcast multicast service (MBMS)). A communications device such as a UE may transition from an inactive or idle state to a connected state to receive multicast services and provide feedback to the network. A wireless network may implement different techniques to trigger the UE to transition from the idle or inactive state into the RRC connected state to receive multicast services. For example, the UE may receive a trigger message that indicates that the one or more multicast services are available for use by the UE, and the UE may determine whether to transition to an RRC connected state to receive the multicast services based on the trigger message.
