Abstract:
The invention relates to a fuse holder comprising two housing elements which, once assembled, together form a tube in which a support for a fuse is accommodated. Each of the two housing elements comprises a contact for establishing an electrical contact with a terminal of a fuse housed in the support, when the support is installed between the assembled housing elements. The support may comprise means to ensure the correct position of each contact in its respective housing element. The support may also comprise means to ensure the correct orientation of the fuse in the support. The support may also comprise means for retaining a seal ensuring sealing between the two housing elements.
Abstract:
A main body of an electronic part is supported by terminals at a position above and separated from a board surface of a printed board. Each of the terminals is composed of a supporting member made of electrically insulating material and a wiring member. Each of the wiring member has an electrode-connected portion electrically connected to an electrode formed on the main body and a land-connected portion electrically connected to a land formed in the printed board. One of the wiring members is composed of a fuse wiring member having a cut-off portion, which is melted down when excess current flows. The wiring member is outwardly expanded in a direction opposite to the main body.
Abstract:
A conductor receiver is described herein for engaging a conductor. The conductor receiver can include a stationary portion for receiving and securing a bottom portion of the conductor. The conductor receiver can also include a movable portion that is coupled to the stationary portion and has an open position and a closed position. When the movable portion is in the closed position, the movable portion secures a top portion of the conductor. The conductor receiver can also have a channel with a number of rows positioned width-wise within the channel. Each row has at least one member made of conductive material, where each member has a normal position and a retracted position. When the conductor is positioned within the channel, each member is in the retracted position.
Abstract:
A fused conductor includes a first conductor portion, a second conductor portion, and a fuse element in electrical communication with the first and second conductor portions via at least one dual metal wire, the fuse element protected by a glass body bonded chemically to the dual metal wire.
Abstract:
A safety fuse holder assembly includes a retaining member. The retaining member is selectively configurable to retain the fuse in an interior space of a first fuse holder component such that the entirety of the fuse remains in the interior space when the first fuse holder component is removed from a second fuse holder component. The safety fuse holder may be IP 20 compliant.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a safety device, in particular for ensuring protection of a loom of cables. The safety device comprises a strip fuse comprising at least two connection contacts. According to the invention, at least one connection piece is firmly arranged in an electrically conductive manner on at least one connection contact. The strip fuse and area of placement of the connection contacts and the connection piece are sealed at least in sections with the aid of an electrically insulating material. The protective device is embodied in a simple manner and can thus be produced economically.
Abstract:
A spinal cord stimulation (SCS) system includes multiple electrodes, multiple, independently programmable, stimulation channels within an implantable pulse generator (IPG) which channels can provide concurrent, but unique stimulation fields, permitting virtual electrodes to be realized. The SCS system includes a replenishable power source (e.g., rechargeable battery), that may be recharged using transcutaneous power transmissions between antenna coil pairs. An external charger unit, having its own rechargeable battery can be used to charge the IPG replenishable power source. A real-time clock can provide an auto-run schedule for daily stimulation. An included bi-directional telemetry link in the system informs the patient or clinician the status of the system, including the state of charge of the IPG battery. Other processing circuitry in the IPG allows electrode impedance measurements to be made. Further circuitry in the external battery charger can provide alignment detection for the coil pairs.
