Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A first user equipment (UE) may communicate one or more messages associated with establishing a sidelink communication connection with a set of UEs, including a second UE. The first UE may transmit a message indicating that the first UE has a data transmission to send. The second UE may receive the message and transmit an indication that a first set of resources is allocated to the first UE for the data transmission. In some examples, the second UE may broadcast the indication that the first set of resources is allocated to the first UE. The first UE may transmit the data transmission over the resources based on receiving the indication that the first set of resources is allocated to the first UE. In some examples, the first UE may perform a listen before talk procedure prior to transmitting the data transmission.

Abstract: Aspects relate to techniques for signaling the capability of a wireless communication device (e.g., a UE) to support demodulation reference signal (DMRS) bundling for channel estimation across two or more slots in the sidelink or uplink. In some examples, a transmitting UE may transmit a DMRS bundling indication to a receiving device (e.g., a receiving UE for sidelink DMRS bundling or a base station for uplink DMRS bundling). The DMRS bundling indication may indicate a capability of the transmitting UE to support DMRS bundling. The transmitting UE may then transmit a respective set of DMRSs within each of two or more slots during a DMRS bundling window to the receiving device based on the transmitting wireless communication device and the receiving device supporting DMRS bundling.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may select, for a sidelink transmission over an unlicensed band and associated with a medium access control (MAC) protocol data unit (PDU), one or more candidate resources of a set of candidate resources that are within an adaptive effective contention window (ECW). The UE may adjust at least one parameter of the adaptive ECW to determine an adjusted at least one parameter based at least in part on a channel access output associated with the one or more candidate resources. The UE may transmit the MAC PDU using the one or more candidate resources or an additional one or more candidate resources, wherein the additional one or more candidate resources are selected based at least in part on the adjusted at least one parameter. Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support mechanisms for configuring an uplink relay for wireless powered IoT operations in a wireless communication system. A base station transmits a power signal to wireless powered IoT devices. The wireless powered IoT devices harvest energy from the power signal to power their reception/transmission circuitry. The base station transmits an information signal to trigger the wireless powered IoT devices to reflect a backscatter transmission. The wireless powered IoT devices transmit a backscatter transmission in response to receiving the information signal from the base station. The base station transmits configurations to a UE including configuration information respectively corresponding to the wireless powered IoT devices, and include information that the UE may use to detect the backscatter transmissions from the wireless powered IoT devices and relay them to the base station based on the configurations.
