Abstract: The invention is systems and methods of operating a window with an automated window mechanism. The systems and methods include moving with the automated window mechanism a sliding panel of a window relative to a window frame to open or close the window. The sliding panel moves through a proximate closing zone. The method also includes in the proximate closing zone, operating the automated window mechanism in a limited state comprising at least one of reduced velocity, reduced current to the automated window mechanism, or reduced voltage to the automated window mechanism.

Abstract: A robot swing structure uses a swing bracket to be in combination with a curved rack, and a transmission gear of a power mechanism to be in engagement with the curved rack. Whereby, when a first end of the curved rack is positioned at the transmission gear, the curved rack and swing bracket are allowed to be swung to incline downward (as if the robot head lowers or bows); when a second end of the curved rack is positioned at the transmission gear, the curved rack and swing bracket are allowed to be in a transverse state; and when a stop section of the curved rack is positioned at the transmission gear, the curved rack and swing bracket are allowed to be in a upright state, thereby making the curved rack and swing bracket to have three swing stopping states.

Abstract: An emergency door closing device that can be installed upon existing doors and hinges to automatically close doors in the response to smoke and fire. The improvements incorporated therein include a hinge cam pivot member that attaches to an existing hinge member of a door and produces a moment force about the existing hinge member allowing a reduced force necessary to pivot the door into a closed position. Further, a novel spring, cam, and lever system is incorporated to activate the moment force to close the door.
