摘要: A microfluidic probe head includes a first layer, a second layer, and a first tubing port extending from an upper face of the first layer. The first layer has a first via, enabling fluid communication between the first port and a lower face of the first layer. The second layer includes a first aperture on a face, and a first microchannel enabling fluid communication between an upper face of the second layer, facing the lower face of the first layer, and the first aperture. The head enables fluid communication between the first via and the first microchannel. At least a portion of the first microchannel is a groove open on the upper face of the second layer, closed by a portion of a lower face of a layer of the head. The probe head further comprises a second tubing port, a second via, a second aperture and a second microchannel.

摘要: A hydraulic jump (1) is created at the free surface (2) of a liquid subjected to a flow over a surface (23) which declines towards a liquid outlet region, and where the supply is made by the overflow of a supply system (3), and where an element (24) rises above the flow surface (23) to form a retention volume (27) of the liquid before it is drained. The liquid may be recycled. The jump (1) may or may not be stable. The invention may be applied to the creation of artificial waves for simulation devices, ornamental fountains or swimming pools.

摘要: A flow guide structure includes a support body including a hollow frame body. At least one first flow way and at least one flow guide assembly are disposed in the hollow frame body. The flow guide assembly has multiple flow guide plates arranged at intervals. At least one second flow way is formed between the flow guide plates. When a cooling fan creates airflow and blows the airflow to a heat sink and a circuit board, the flow guide plates of the flow guide assembly can also guide the airflow to those areas with high heat so as to lower the temperature of the electronic components in the areas.

摘要: A system for delivering pulses of a desired mass of gas to a tool, comprising: a mass flow controller including flow sensor, a control valve and a dedicated controller configured and arranged to receive a recipe of a sequence of steps for opening and closing the control valve so as to deliver as sequence of gas pulses as a function of the recipe. The mass flow controller is configured and arranged so as to operate in either one of at least two modes: as a traditional mass flow controller (MFC) mode or in a pulse gas delivery (PGD) mode. Further, the dedicated controller is configured and arranged to delivery pulses of gas in accordance with anyone of three different types of pulse gas delivery processes: a time based pulse delivery process, a mole based pulse delivery process and a profile based pulse delivery process.

摘要: An article of footwear with an inflatable system may have a valve incorporated therein to adjust the level of cushioning in the article of footwear. The valve may be in communication with an inflatable bladder and may have a body, a piston, and an interface. The body may have an interior chamber, a fluid inlet, and a fluid outlet. The piston may be located within the interior of the body and can be spring actuated. The interface may be connected to the body such that movement of the interface between a first position and a second position results in the piston moving between a first position wherein fluid is permitted to enter the interior chamber at a first rate and a second position wherein fluid is permitted to enter at a second rate, wherein the first rate is greater than the second rate.

摘要: A system includes input and output sets processing chambers. The processing chambers of each of the input set and the output set are fluidly coupled and linearly aligned with each other along corresponding input and output directions. The processing chambers process and move a device between the processing chambers along corresponding input and output directions. The processing chambers of the input set separately process the device when the device is located in each of the processing chambers of the input set. The processing chambers of the output set separately process the device when the device is located in each of the processing chambers of the output set.

摘要: The invention relates to a plant aid for surrounding a young plant. The plant aid comprises a tube at least partly sideways surrounding a young plant placeable in the plant aid. The plant aid further comprises a water collection sheet for collecting moisture present in the atmosphere. The water collection sheet comprises a water collection surface comprising a receiving surface, which receiving surface operatively makes a first angle with respect to the orientation of gravity. The water collection sheet further comprises a collecting surface adjoining a lower edge of the receiving surface, which collecting surface operatively makes a second angle with respect to the orientation of gravity. The first angle is smaller than the second angle.
