Abstract: A device for automatically actuating a vehicle door (1), in particular a side door or a tailgate of the motor vehicle, including: A control device (12) and a drive (4;4′) having a motor (5) with a gearing (6) connected downstream and at least one transmission element (8;20) located between the gearing 6 (6) and thevehicle door (1). Abstract: The invention relates to a damping device for parts of furniture which are joined together by means of hinges and which can be pivoted in relation to each other. The housing contains a damping fluid in the cavity thereof and a resistance element which can be displaced relative to the damping fluid and connected to an actuating element protruding from the housing. During at least one part of the pivoting movement of both pieces of furniture, said actuating element is drivingly connected to the second piece of furniture and transfers the movement distributed to the second piece of furniture to the resistance element. The damping device is arranged in the region of at least one of the hinges which pivotally couples both pieces of furniture, and whereby either the damping housing and/or the actuating element engages with one of the stop element of the corresponding hinges, at least during the damping process.

Abstract: The invention concerns a braking and damping device for movable massesnullin particular, for movable cabinet components, with a casing, a first adjustable braking element that is located partially in the casing and is coupled with the movable cabinet component and a second adjustable braking element that is located in the casing; whereby, the braking elements form operating surfaces that are inter-related, so that a shifting of the braking elements relative to one another produce a braking force. The invention shows that the braking elements that are coupled together by a transferring element that provides and removes force in such a manner that in a first movement phase, the braking elements implement a synchronous movement with which the relative velocity between the operating surfaces is smaller or less than the speed of the first braking element that is coupled with the cabinet component. In the second movement phase the braking elements implement opposite movement with which the relative velocity between the operating surfaces is greater than the speed of the first, with the braking element coupled with the cabinet component and in the third movement phase, the first two movement phases are opposite movement phases, the second braking element essentially stands still. Abstract: A slide damper for use with an associated sliding object that is movable between a first position and a second position provides an assisted, dampened return. The slide damper includes a housing having a track, a gear on the housing and a cover configured for movement along the housing. The cover further includes a track engaging pin for engaging the housing track as the cover moves along the housing. A biasing element operably connects the cover and the housing to bias the cover to the second position. A damper assembly is disposed within the cover and includes a damper housing having a geared outer periphery, a damping material disposed in the damper housing and a rotor disposed at least in part within the damper housing for cooperating with the damping material. The rotor has a shaft and is rotatable relative to the damper housing. The rotor shaft extends through the cover and a damper gear operably connects the shaft and the housing gear. The damper assembly is selectively engaged in which the rotor rotates relative to the damper housing when the cover is moved toward the second position and movement of the damper gear along the housing gear is dampened, and disengaged in which the rotor is stationary relative to the damper housing when the cover is moved toward the first position and movement of the damper gear along the housing gear is unimpeded.

Abstract: The invention concerns a spring barrel module having two chambers. A spring is located in the first chamber and a damper in the second chamber. The unidirectional damper is implemented by a clutch means that connects the damper plate to the spring shaft when the tightened spring is released, whereby the rotation of the damper slows down. Correspondingly, the clutch loosens the connection between the damper plate and the spring shaft when the spring is tightened. In low temperatures (e.g. below 0° C. degrees) the damper fails to dampen the rotation. The unidirectional feature of the damper improves both usability and durability. Breakage of the mechanical components of the spring barrel is prevented by an overload clutch, which means that the spring barrel module will tolerate even relatively rough handling of the equipment.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a door opening/closing device installed in a door of a building to be opened/closed about a hinge fixed at one side of the door. The opening/closing device controls the door to be manually opened and closed with an automatic returning device. When the door is opened by a rotating power adjusting device of the door, an oil pusher-plate in a rotary member pushes oil in an oil reservoir so that rotation speed of oil is adjusted by the pressure of oil passing through an oil passage hole, the end of the oil pusher plate and the inside wall of the oil reservoir. The door is opened in a joggling manner but slowly closed as rotating speed of the door gradually decreases, thereby solving problems such as injury occurring at the time of closing the door.
