Abstract: An improved electrically operated gate having a rectangular frame with a top horizontal rail, a bottom horizontal rail and vertical ends, a roller adjacent each end extending below the bottom rail by which the gate rolls from open to closed positions, the gate moving in a longitudinal vertical plane, a roller engaging the top rail to maintain the frame in a vertical plane, an inverted horizontal rack affixed to the frame on one side thereof adjacent the frame bottom, the rack having a series of equally spaced teeth, an electric motor drive means affixed at a stationary position adjacent the gate frame and having a pinion drive gear rotatably extending therefrom below the rack and in engagement with the rack teeth, and springs to resiliently urge the pinion gear upwardly into engagement with the rack teeth so that when the electric motor is energized the frame is longitudinally moved to open or close the gate.

Abstract: The invention is an an anchor for attaching an automated window mechanism to a sliding panel of a window. The sliding panel has a border with an outer face generally perpendicular to the window. The anchor includes a base configured to be secured to the outer face. The base and mechanism mount has a first tongue-and-groove component protruding from the base away from the outer face. The anchor also includes a mechanism mount configured to be secured to the automated window mechanism, the mechanism mount having a second tongue-and-groove component protruding therefrom. The first tongue-and-groove component and the second tongue-and-groove components are shaped and aligned to permit the mechanism mount to slide relative to the base in a direction generally perpendicular to the window, and to thereafter hold the mechanism in proper alignment relative to the sliding panel of the window.

The in-vehicle device further includes: a locking mechanism unit that, upon determination by the controller based on the detected output from the detection switch that the movable member reaches an end point region in a movement direction, locks the movable member, and upon determination by the controller that a main switch is set to OFF, releases the lock; and a motor driver that, after the release of the lock by the locking mechanism unit, upon determination by the controller based on the detected output from the detection switch that the movable member is moved again, drives the motor to move the movable member.

The cam mechanism is configured to longitudinally drive the lock gear from a first longitudinal position to a second longitudinal position as the lock gear rotates from the first rotational position to the second rotational position. Movement of the lock gear between the first longitudinal position and the second longitudinal position transitions the lock mechanism between a locked state and an unlocked state.

Abstract: An automated analysis device is provided with a casing accommodating an analysis device. A cover is axially supported with freedom to pivot, between a closed position and an upwardly-open open position, about a support shaft provided at one side of the casing. A closing device is capable of inhibiting opening of the cover in the closed position, and is provided with a projecting portion that protrudes from a front surface of the cover toward the rear, a lock lever which is axially supported with freedom to pivot about a pivoting support shaft, and which pivots from the work surface in a direction approaching the projecting portion to engage with the projection portion, thereby inhibiting opening of the cover. A safety cover can thus be locked securely.
