Abstract:
A transmitter device 20, in transmitting a predetermined number of data blocks out of a plurality of data blocks to a receiver device 10 via a relay device 40, divides and writes into data blocks transmitted in succession, a request code for requesting relay device 40 to relay remaining data blocks. Relay device 40, in the case of accepting the request shown in the request code that is divided and written in the data blocks transmitted from transmitter device 20, notifies the acceptance of the request to transmitter device 20. Transmitter device 20, upon receiving the notification, then transmits the remaining data blocks in succession to relay device 40.
Abstract:
A method of forming registration marks and an image forming apparatus are provided. The registration mark includes two first patterns and one second pattern on an image carrier. The method includes: forming two first patterns on the image carrier; and forming a second pattern on the image carrier between the two first patterns. A specular reflection component in a light reflected by the second pattern is less than a specular reflection component in a light reflected by the image carrier. A diffuse reflection component in a light reflected by the second pattern is less than a diffuse reflection component in a light reflected by the first pattern.
Abstract:
It is intended to provide a governor that is small, does not produce wear particles or noise, is low cost, is not affected by differences in attitude, is not affected by magnetism, and has outstanding durability. The governor has a rotor that rotates using energy supplied from an energy storage means through a power transfer means, a wing having wing surfaces perpendicular to the rotational axis of the rotor, and disposed movably to an outside circumference side radially to the rotor by means of centrifugal force produced by rotor rotation, a zigzag spring disposed between the rotor and wing for pulling the wing to the inside circumference side radially to the rotor, and an opposing member disposed to the outside circumference of the rotor and having an opposing surface located opposite and separated a predetermined gap from the wing surface when the wing moves to the outside circumference side radially to the rotor.
Abstract:
A developing cartridge is detachably attached to an electrophotograpy-type image forming apparatus which forms an image on a recording sheet by transferring toner onto the recording sheet. The developing cartridge includes a casing that provides a toner accommodating space for accommodating toner, and an agitator that is rotatably disposed in the casing and agitates toner accommodated in the toner accommodating space. The developing cartridge has a light guiding member that is disposed in the casing go as to be rotatable integrally with the agitator. The light guiding member includes a light entrance portion disposed at a position offset from a rotation shaft of the agitator and allowing entrance of light into the light guiding member, and guides the light entering from the light entrance portion to an outside of the casing.
Abstract:
A flat belt that enables the degree of wear thereof to be visually or tactually determined is provided. There is provided a flat belt that has a surface contacting a pulley and a recess formed thereon for detecting wear.
Abstract:
A spring device having an inside-end wheel that moves in conjunction with the inside end of a mainspring; an outside-end wheel that moves in conjunction with the outside end of the mainspring; a torque return unit that transfers part of the output torque of the mainspring from one to the other of the inside-end wheel and outside-end wheel; a duration time indicating unit that operates in conjunction with both the inside-end wheel and outside-end wheel and indicates the number of winds in the mainspring; and a torque transfer clutch unit that disengages torque transfer between the inside-end wheel and outside-end wheel by means of the torque return unit when the mainspring unwinds and the duration time indicating unit indicates a predetermined reference number of winds.
Abstract:
Provided is a fabrication method of a semiconductor integrated circuit device, which comprises disposing, in a ultrapure water preparing system, UF equipment having therein a UF module which has been manufactured by disposing, in a body thereof, a plurality of capillary hollow fiber membranes composed of a polysulfone membrane or polyimide membrane, bonding the plurality of hollow fiber membranes at end portions thereof by hot welding, and by this hot welding, simultaneously adhering the hollow fiber membranes to the body. Upon preparation of ultrapure water to be used for the fabrication of the semiconductor integrated circuit device, the present invention makes it possible to prevent run-off of ionized amine into the ultrapure water.
Abstract:
A valve device has a pressure chamber, which is connected to a liquid inlet and a liquid outlet and retains liquid, and a pressure regulator decreasing the pressure in the pressure chamber to a predetermined level. The pressure regulator has a pressure receiving member. When the pressure in the pressure chamber becomes lower than the predetermined level, the pressure receiving member is elastically deformed in an inward direction of the pressure chamber. The pressure regulator generates actuation force greater than the pressing force produced by the elastic deformation of the pressure receiving member. The pressure regulator is configured to be opened by the actuation force. When the pressure regulator is open, a fluid supply from the liquid inlet to the pressure chamber is permitted. It is thus possible to minimize the valve device.
Abstract:
[Problems to be Solved]By lowering the degree of close contact between a flat belt and the pulley surface of a pulley, it is possible to avoid production of separation noises, which sound “ji ji”. By increasing the coefficient of friction of the flat belt, it is possible to realize low-load transmission.[Means for Solution]The flat belt (1) consists of an upper rubber layer (2), a core layer (3), and an under rubber layer (4) which are laminated in order. The core layer (3) consists of adhesive rubber (3a) and a core cord (3b) which is wound spirally in the rubber. The upper belt surface (2a) and the under belt surface (4a) as belt transmission surfaces are rough rubber surfaces with fine irregularities. The rough rubber surfaces are formed by means of a vulcanization mold (11) or a vulcanization molding rubber sleeve (18) which has a shotblasted molding surface (sleeve surface), without post-working after the vulcanization molding.
Abstract:
A method, an apparatus, and a computer program are provided to utilize built-in self test (BIST) latches for multiple purposes. Conventionally, BIST latches are single purpose. Hence, separate latches are utilized for array built-in self test (ABIST) and logic built-in self test (LBIST) operations. By having the separate latches, though, a substantial amount area is lost. Therefore, to better utilize the latches and the area, ABIST latches are reconfigured to utilize some previously unused ports to allow for multiple uses for the latches, such as for LBIST.
