Abstract: Methods and apparatus are provided for path switching between an evolved Node B (eNB) and a Mobile Management Entity (MME). The eNB transmits a Path Switch Request message informing that a User Equipment (UE) has changed cells, to the MME. The Path Switch Request message includes an eNB UE S1AP ID, a Tracking Area Identifier (TAI), and cell Identifier (ID). The eNB UE S1AP ID uniquely identifies UE association over an S1 interface within the eNB. The eNB receives a Path Switch Request Acknowledge message including an MME UE S1AP ID and the eNB UE S1AP ID, from the MME. The MME UE S1AP ID uniquely identifies UE association over an S1 interface within the MME. The TAI corresponds to a cell in which the UE is located.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a master node, a secondary node and a user equipment in a mobile communication network and communication methods thereof. According to an implementation, a method performed by a master node (MN) in a mobile communication network, comprises with receiving from a user equipment (UE), a first message including information reporting a failure of a secondary cell group (SCG) in case that a secondary node change from the source secondary node to a first target secondary node is failed and transmitting, to the source secondary node, a second message including information associated with a failure of the secondary node change, wherein the second message includes at least one of following information, an identifier of the first target secondary node where the failure of the secondary node change occurs, an identifier of the source secondary node to which the UE successfully connects before the failure of the secondary node change, and information on a type of the failure of the secondary node change.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a pre-5th-Generation (5G) or 5G communication system to be provided for supporting higher data rates Beyond 4th-Generation (4G) communication system such as Long Term Evolution (LTE). The present invention provides a method for supporting handover, comprising the steps of: informing, by a source base station, a core network whether a direct data forwarding path is available; deciding, by the core network, whether to use direct data forwarding or indirect data forwarding; informing, by the core network, a target base station of information about the direct data forwarding or indirect data forwarding; allocating, by the target base station, data forwarding tunnel information, the target base station allocating the data forwarding tunnel information according to the received information about the direct data forwarding or indirect data forwarding; transmitting, by the target base station, the allocated data forwarding tunnel information to the core network; and informing, by the core network, the source base station of the data forwarding tunnel information. With the present invention, different data forwarding methods are supported to prevent data loss and ensure service continuity.

Abstract: The embodiments of present application provide a method and device for handover, wherein, the method includes: receiving a configuration message transmitted by a second node to support the first node for handover, wherein, the first node includes any one of a relay node, a mobile terminal part of the relay node, and a distributed unit of the relay node, and the second node includes any one of an anchor node, and a central unit of the anchor node; and configuring the first node according to the configuration message transmitted by the second node. The method provided in the present application achieves the effect of updating the configuration of the first node during the handover of the first node when moving, so that the relay node may continuously provide service for a user equipment accessing the first node.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a pre-5th-Generation (5G) or 5G communication system to be provided for supporting higher data rates Beyond 4th-Generation (4G) communication system such as Long Term Evolution (LTE). The disclosure provides a method and apparatus for configuring a relay node. A first node transmits to a second node a message that carries information on a radio bearer for a user accessing the second node. Configuration of the radio bearer for data transmission in a multi-hop network is realized through the above method and apparatus.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for feeding back hybrid automatic repeat request-acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) information are provided. The apparatus and method include user equipment (UE) that first receives a downlink grant (DL-GRANT) which schedules downlink HARQ transmission in a time-frequency bundling window corresponding to an uplink subframe used for feeding back HARQ-ACK, obtains a DL downlink assignment index (DL DAI) in the DL-GRANT, and determines a mapping value of each DL DAI. Then, according to the mapping value of the corresponding DL DAI, the HARQ-ACK bit of each HARQ feedback unit is mapped to a corresponding bit of a feedback bit sequence. According to the method and apparatus provided by the present disclosure, useless HARQ-ACK bits may be effectively removed, and efficiency for feeding back HARQ-ACK may be increased. As such, a downlink peak rate of a UE is ensured.
