Abstract:
According to the invention, there is provided a data communicating apparatus which has a collective transmitting function for collectively transmitting a plurality of data to the same destination, can set first information to identifying the transmission data or second information to limit an access to the transmission data into data to be transmitted, and transmits the set first or second information by a communicating procedure, wherein when the collective transmission is executed, whether the first or second information set in each of the plurality of data or not is discriminated, and the collective transmission is executed in accordance with the discrimination result, thereby enabling the two functions to be properly executed.
Abstract:
An image communication apparatus such as a facsimile apparatus comprises a reading circuit to read images of both of the front and back sides of an original to be transmitted, a discriminating circuit to discriminate the presence or absence of the image of the side of the original which was read by the reading circuit, and a transmitting circuit for transmitting the image of the side excluding the side of the original without the image on the basis of the result of the judgment of the discriminating circuit.
Abstract:
A facsimile apparatus includes a reception unit for receiving image data and a procedure signal, a detection unit for detecting a sub-address from the procedure signal received by the reception unit, a recording unit for recording the image data received by the reception unit, a sorter having a plurality of bins for sorting record sheets on which image data are recorded by the recording unit, and a control unit for controlling the sorter to sort the record sheets, on which the image data are recorded by the recording unit, in accordance with sub-addresses detected by the detection unit.
Abstract:
This invention improves the success rate of rereception of a primary channel equalizer training signal, which is performed when, in a data communication apparatus having an ITU-T recommendation V.34 communication function, a control circuit performs control to receive a line probing signal, and thereafter, shift to reception of a primary channel equalizer training signal, and to control circuit performs control to, when the primary channel equalizer training signal is not detected within a predetermined time, send a tone A signal and receive a tone B signal, and thereafter, shift to transmission of a limited INFOh signal.
Abstract:
A facsimile apparatus receives and stores image data, receives a sub-address signal, and processes the stored image data using pre-stored processing corresponding to the received sub-address signal.
Abstract:
A facsimile apparatus capable of recording received information on a plurality of pages over one page of regular format cut sheets, the facsimile apparatus comprising: a receiving device for receiving image information; and a number of recording sheets setting device for setting a number of sheets of received information to be recorded on one page of the regular format cut sheet, wherein the number of sheet of the received information to be recorded on one page of the regular format cut sheet is automatically determined in accordance with fineness of the received information.
Abstract:
A facsimile apparatus for outputting multiple copies of a received image comprises a receiver for receiving image data and a protocol signal, a detector for detecting the indication of multiple copy output from the protocol signal received by the receiver, a memory for storing the image data received by the receiver, a recorder for recording the received image data stored in the memory and a control circuit for causing the memory to store the received image data in response to the detection by the detector of the indication of the multiple copy output of the image data and, after the reception, causing the recorder to repetitively record the received image data stored in the memory, in a number of copies equal to that designated by the protocol signal. The control circuit causes the recorder to start the recording of the image data stored in the memory means starting from page 1 and to output one copy of the received image data, when the vacant area of the memory falls below a predetermined level during the reception of the image data.
Abstract:
A facsimile apparatus has an AC power source and a standby power source which are selectively changed. The number of times of changing the power sources is minimized to limit deterioration of the AC power source. When the frequency of use of the facsimile apparatus is high, the AC power source is maintained in the on state.
Abstract:
Thermal transfer recording apparatus for recording image on the recording medium by transferring ink of the ink sheet on the recording medium characterized by being provided with the ink sheet conveying means, the recording medium conveying means, recording means to record the image on the recording medium by being driven in accordance with the image data and working on the ink sheet and control means to drive the recording means with the energy smaller than that used at the time of ordinary recording utilizing the inverted data of the image data used in the preceding recording, the apparatus providing such advantage as the improvement of image quality, saving of consumption of ink sheet and saving of running cost, etc.
Abstract:
A blank space is provided at an appropriate position on a recording paper as determined by either input image data to be recorded, or the size of the recording paper.
