摘要： This invention relates to a receptacle for connecting a terminated coaxial cable to circuits on a printed circuit board. More particularly, the receptacle consists of a stamped and formed shell member which contains a stamped and formed center contact and which also terminates the ground circuit to the board. The center conductor contact is embedded within a dielectric housing electrically isolating it from the shell member. Both the shell member and center contact contain formed biasing means to frictionally retain the coaxial cable.

摘要： An improved matched impedance and power transmission cable assembly is disclosed having a pair of flat flexible cables. Each cable comprises a flexible insulating substrate with circuitry on both sides thereof, each covered by an insulation layer. The cables are arranged in stacked fashion with shielding circuitry on the exterior surfaces. The pair of cables is enclosed in a protective sheath and terminated with appropriate terminal means. The circuitry on both sides of each of the two flat flexible cables has a periodic repetition rate so that the cables can be terminated at suitable intervals thus obviating the need to form such cables in a multiplicity of different lengths.

摘要： Electrical connecting device for insulated wires comprises a plastic connector body having a bore and having two passageways extending laterally therein and communicating with the bore. When the wires are inserted into the passageways, they will be crossed adjacent to the inner end of the bore and a plug is inserted into the bore which compresses the crossed wires against the inner end of the bore. The insulation on the crossed portions of the wires is extruded and the conducting cores of the wires are brought into electrical contact with each other.

摘要： A free standing all metal contact which, when mounted on a first board with other similar contacts, all in a straight line, will mechanically receive and hold, and make electrical contact with a second circuit board. Each contact has U-shaped configuration with the first and second legs of the U having a width which is normal to the plane of the U. In one form of the invention the edges of both the first and second legs, or just the second leg are bent back in a direction away from the other leg to form an I beam type cross-sectional configuration to provide structural strength. Two diagonally positioned edges of the two legs are extended beyond the closed end of the U to form a pair of posts which fit into mating holes in the first circuit board to securely mount the contact thereon. The free end of the first of the two legs is bent downwardly into the U and towards the other leg to provide a spring-like gripping effect upon the edge of the second board when it is inserted into said U.

摘要： Fault indicator for power cable comprises a housing which is mounted on the cable having a plunger therein which is movable between extended and retracted positions. The plunger is resiliently biased to its extended position but is held in its retracted position by a latch. A delatching vane of a material having high magnetic permeability is pivotally mounted in the housing adjacent to the cable. Upon passage of a surge current through the cable, which would be caused by the fault, the resulting electro-magnetic field causes the vane to swing about its pivotal axis and engage the latch so that the latch is disengaged from the plunger and the plunger moves to its extended position.

The perforations can be placed in the web in any desired configuration, including on either or both lateral edges, between the separate circuit patterns, and within the individual circuit patterns.
