A method for storing node information of a Huffman tree. The method creates an index of each node in the Huffman tree using a breadth first search (BFS) algorithm. The method further reads each node of the Huffman tree beginning from a root node according to a sequence of the index of each node, and stores node information of each node into an array of the Huffman tree.
Abstract:
An electronic device controls a client to play videos using internet protocol television (IPTV). The electronic device includes a display. The display displays a program list that includes a plurality of programs, a play option for activating play of a user selected television program and a browse option for activating display of information of the user selected television program. Videos of the programs are stored in an IPTV server connected to the client. In response to the user selects a television program on the display, the client obtains a video of the selected television program and displays the video on the client. If the user selects the browse option, the client obtains the information of the selected television program. The display of the electronic device displays the information of the selected television program.
Abstract:
An alternator includes a stator assembly and a rotor assembly. The rotor assembly includes a rotor core having a first core portion and a second core portion. The rotor core is processed by cementation, so that the first core portion has carbon content that gradually decreases from the outer surface toward the central line of the rotor core till reaching a predetermined carbon content. The second core portion has carbon content lower than that of the first core portion. With these arrangements, the alternator can reduce turn-on speed and increase outputs. A method of manufacturing the non-homogenous rotor core of the alternator is also provided.

A method for encoding images receives a specified type of an image request from a terminal device, obtains encoded images from a storage device of the server directly upon the condition that the image request has been processed. The method further adds a task into a coder of the server to process the image request upon the condition that the image request has not been processed, encodes captured images by the coder according to the image request, stores the encoded images and the corresponding specified type of the image request in the storage device, and outputs the encoded images to the terminal device.

In an embodiment, a starch-based thermoplastic composite is provided. The starch-based thermoplastic composite includes thermoplastic starch (TPS), polycarbonate (PC) and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), wherein the polycarbonate has a weight ratio of 15-60% in the starch-based thermoplastic composite. The starch-based thermoplastic composite further includes an impact modifier and a compatibilizer.

A clamping mechanism automatically adaptable to change of thickness of printed circuit board includes: a frame body having two parallel rail seats; two clamping rail members respectively mounted on the rail seats for clamping a printed circuit board, each clamping rail member including a first clamping rail and a second clamping rail spaced from each other by a clamping gap; and two adjustment units for adjusting the clamping gap of the clamping rail members. Each the adjustment unit includes: a support section mounted on the frame body to provide a support face; a connection section, one end of the connection section being affixed to the first clamping rail, the other end of the connection section being positioned above the support face; and a floating section positioned between the connection section and the support section and supported on the support face to apply a resilient support force to the connection section.

A multi-channel audio playback apparatus including a channel interface, a first switching amplifier and a second switching amplifier is provided. The channel interface is used to receive multi-channel digital data and generate first channel digital data and second channel digital data. The first switching amplifier is used to convert the first channel digital data into a first pulse width modulation (PWM) signal according to a first reference signal with a first frequency. The second switching amplifier is used to convert the second channel digital data into a second PWM signal according to a second reference signal with a second frequency. The second frequency is different from the first frequency.

In a method of manufacturing a three-dimensional (3D) circuit device, conducting circuits are formed on a non-conductive base through electroplating. The non-conductive base, and a circuit pattern section, at least one conducting junction and at least one current-guiding junction provided on the base are formed through double injection molding process. An electrically conductive interface layer is formed on the circuit pattern section and the junctions; and then, metal circuits are formed on the circuit pattern section through electroplating. By providing the conducting junction and the current-guiding junction, when forming metal circuits through electroplating, electroplating current can be evenly distributed over the circuit pattern section to form metal coating with uniform thickness, which enables upgraded production efficiency and reduced cost in manufacturing a 3D circuit device.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a surface plasmon resonance (SPR) unit having at least one microfluidic channel with grating structures embedded in so that a grating-coupled surface plasmon resonance can be induced by an incident light while fluid in the microfluidic channel contacts or flows through the grating area. The induced variation of optical signal due to the SPR effect is analyzed for performing bio-screening and assay of bioaffinity reaction. Meanwhile, present invention further provides an SPR inspection system possessing a rotation power to the SPR unit such that the SPR unit is capable of rotating and thereby generating a centrifugal force for driving the flow inside the microfluidic channels so as to achieve the label-free and high throughput SPR inspection system with low-cost.
