摘要: Techniques are provided for managing power to various devices within a suite or room, such as an operating room. In an example, an apparatus can include a first input configured to couple to a system controller of an operating room, multiple outputs configured couple to control inputs of one or more power relays, and a controller configured to control the one or more power relays via the multiple outputs in response to a power status of the system controller. The first input can be indicative of the power status of the system controller. Each power relay of the one or more power relays can be configured to selectively connect power to medical equipment of the operating room.

摘要: A guiding probe for identifying a location within an anatomical region of a patient. The guiding probe can optionally: a graspable portion, an insertion portion and an emitter. The insertion portion can be coupled to the graspable portion. The insertion portion can have an elongated extent and a longitudinal axis. The insertion portion can include a flexible section and a bending section. The bending section can be positioned distal of the flexible section. The emitter can be coupled to a distal end portion of the insertion portion. The emitter can be configured for use within the anatomical region to emit a signal that can be detectable extracorporeally of the patient whereby the signal enables the location within the anatomical region to be identified extracorporeally for therapy to be applied.

摘要: A device having a sheath, a medical device, a stylet, a handle and a plunger device. The handle includes portions connected proximal ends of the sheath, the medical device and the stylet and a chamber portion connected to the actuator. The chamber portion includes a volume of space configured to volumetrically connect to at a lumen of the medical device, the sheath or the stylet and a plunger device configured to be slidably received within the chamber portion. The plunger device is able to pneumatically isolate a proximal portion of the volume of space from a distal portion of the volume of space. Proximal movement of the stylet and the plunger device cause a suction effect (i.e., reduced pressure) at the distal end of the sheath, the medical device and/or the stylet.

A method can comprise fragmenting stones with a lithotripsy device, drawing a vacuum through the lithotripsy device to pull stone fragments and waste fluid therethrough, pulling the vacuum through a stone capture device connected to the lithotripsy device, depositing stone fragments within the stone capture device using a capture element, and drawing the vacuum through the device.

The linkage including: the ground link; a second link that is pivotable with respect to the ground link; a fourth link that is pivotable with respect to the ground link; and a third link having a main body extending from a first portion to a second portion and a blocking tab extending away from the main body. The medical device further including a second actuator operatively coupled to the ground link, the second actuator having a blocking surface including a blocking tab that is positioned to engage with at least a portion of the blocking surface of the second actuator to limit movement of the second actuator until the first actuator is at least partially actuated.

摘要: A laser tissue ablation system can include an optical fiber, with a distal end being extendible from an endoscope body of an endoscope. The optical fiber can deliver therapeutic laser light from the distal end of the optical fiber toward a target site, and receive return light into the distal end of the optical fiber. The laser tissue ablation system can include a sensor that can spectrally measure the return light. The laser tissue ablation system can include processor circuitry that can form a first determination, from the spectral measurement of the return light, whether flashing event light is present in the return light. The flashing event light can be generated when a flashing event occurs at the distal end of the optical fiber. The processor circuitry can generate, in response to the first determination, a flashing event data signal that indicates whether the flashing event has occurred.

摘要: A device having a hub assembly and a lever coupled with the hub assembly is provided. The device includes a sheath coupled with the lever and extending from the hub assembly. The sheath has a surgical elevator with a surgical elevator edge along with a hypotube having an access hole. The device has a shaver blade assembly with an outer shaft having an outer blade and an inner blade within the outer blade. The outer shaft has a stop and an access hole near the outer and inner blades. The sheath partially surrounds the outer shaft and the lever moves between a first position and a second position. In the first position, the surgical elevator edge abuts the outer shaft stop and the outer shaft access hole aligns with the hypotube access hole. In the second position, the surgical elevator edge is spaced apart from the outer shaft stop.
