    摘要: A feedback control system has a comparing section to compare idling engine speed with a wide dead zone and a narrow dead zone. The wide dead zone has a predetermined width with respect to a desired idle speed. The narrow dead zone width is narrower than the wide dead zone width. When the idling speed is out of the wide dead zone, the system selects the narrow dead zone for rapid convergence of the idling speed. When the idling speed is within the narrow dead zone, the system selects the wide dead zone to prevent hunting.

    摘要: An ignition timing controlling system is provided for calculating an ignition timing based on a basic ignition timing, a learning correcting quantity including a large correcting quantity and a small correcting quantity. A temporary correcting quantity having a small value is stored in a memory at starting of the engine, and increased in an advance direction until knocking of the engine occurs. The increased temporary correcting quantity is compared with the large correcting quantity and either of the quantities is selected as a proper correcting quantity. An ignition timing is calculated based on the selected quantity.

    摘要: A plurality of basic ignition timings are stored in a first memory in accordance with engine speed and absolute pressure of intake air. An ignition timing is calculated based on the basic ignition timing derived from the first memory. A plurality of retard quantities are stored in a second memory in accordance with the atmospheric pressure. One of retard quantities is derived from the second memory in accordance with a detected atmospheric pressure. The basic ignition timing is retarded with the derived retard quantity, thereby correcting the ignition timing.

    摘要: An ignition controlling system has a memory storing a plurality of basic ignition timings each of which is a maximum timing for producing maximum torque with low-octane gasoline without causing knocking, and storing a plurality of maximum advance quantities. A learning control system has a memory storing a plurality of learning correcting quantities and rewriting the learning correcting quantity in accordance with occurrence of knocking of the engine. A basic ignition timing, a maximum advance quantity and a learning correcting quantity are derived from the memories in accordance with engine operating conditions. The learning correcting quantity is compared with the maximum advance quantity and smaller one is selected. The smaller quantity is added to the basic ignition timing to obtain an ignition timing.

In response to the load signal, an advance angle is provided. The advance angle is added to a basic ignition timing to produce a desired ignition timing. The system operates to excite an ignition coil of the engine to form a spark at a spark plug at the desired ignition timing.
