Abstract: A golf club cleaning device for cleaning golf clubs includes a panel that comprises cloth. A slot is positioned adjacent to a bottom edge of the panel. A plurality of first fasteners is coupled to a front of the panel adjacent to a fringe of the slot. A housing that is complementary to the slot has a plurality of bristles that is coupled to and extends transversely from a back face of the housing. The bristles are configured to engage a face of a golf club to dislodge debris. A plurality of second fasteners, which is complementary to the first fasteners, is coupled to and extends outwardly from a rim of the back face of the housing. The second fasteners are positioned to reversibly couple with the first fasteners to secure the housing to the panel.

Abstract: A stabilizing system for a deck system has a plurality of pedestals, a plurality of connection locations on a periphery of the pedestals and a stabilizing bar secured between the pedestals. The stabilizing bar includes a first half, a second half, a fastener, and a first securing member. The first half and the second half connect to each other and are extendable between at least two of the pedestals. The second half is sized to receive the first half therein in a telescoping manner. The fastener connects the first half with the second half, while the first securing opening extends from a bottom surface and is located near a respective end face opposite a juncture between the halves.

Abstract: A deck system and pedestal for use in forming an elevated surface are provided. The pedestal for supports blocks, pavers, tiles, or panels a spaced distance above an underlying surface. The pedestal has a base, a reinforcement wall, a support, and a coupler with a flange. The base is at a lower end of the pedestal and has a plate extending outward from a post. The reinforcement wall extends between the plate and the post and has a first eyelet formed therein. The support is located at an upper end of the pedestal for supporting the blocks, pavers, tiles, or panels thereon. It is adjustably mounted relative to the base for altering an overall height of the pedestal. The coupler, having a flange is adjustably located between the support and the base for further altering the overall height of the pedestal. A plurality of spaced-apart second eyelets extend through the flange.

Abstract: A stabilizing system for a deck system has a plurality of pedestals, a plurality of connection locations on a periphery of the pedestals and at least one stabilizing member secured g between the pedestals. Each of the pedestals supports corner portions of adjacent blocks, pavers or panels a spaced distance above an underlying structure extending generally parallel to the blocks, pavers or panels. The plurality of connection locations on a periphery of the pedestals are located both proximate the supported corner portions and proximate the underlying structure. At least one stabilizing member in the form of a stabilizing bar, elongate wires, wire rope, cable or rods is secured to and extends between the connection locations of at least two of the pedestals.

Abstract: A system is set forth for the exothermic generation of soot depleted syngas comprising (i) reacting a hydrocarbon-containing fuel with an oxygen containing gas in a first reactor to produce the syngas and byproducts comprising CO2, H2O and soot; and (ii) introducing the syngas and byproducts into a second reactor containing a non-carbonaceous material that traps the soot for a sufficient time such that the majority of the byproduct soot is gasified via reaction with the byproduct CO2 and/or H2O to produce a syngas stream that is depleted in the soot. The system is particularly suitable for the practice of heat exchange reforming wherein a portion of the heat is recovered from the soot depleted syngas stream and used as at least a portion of the heat to facilitate the additional production of syngas via the (endothermic) catalytic reforming of natural gas and steam.

Abstract: A method and mold are provided for making interlocking paving block and the like in which an aqueous concrete slurry is placed in a mold and subjected to instantaneous pressure of at least 1000 pounds per square inch over its entire surface to expel a large portion of water from the slurry, removing the formed article and curing. The mold is made up of a generally rectangular carrier plate with vertical sidewalls in which is placed a base plate, a pair of side plates and spacer wedge plates holding the end and side plates and a die head plate entering the mold.
