摘要: The present invention provides a paste for forming an internal electrode in a ceramic element. The paste causes no sudden heat generation from an organic vehicle contained therein during a degreasing step and allows Pd or Ag/Pd serving as an internal electrode to expand freely as a result of oxidation during a firing step, to thereby prevent structural defects of the ceramics such as delamination, when used for the formation of internal electrodes in a ceramic element such as a laminated ceramic capacitor. The paste contains a metal powder of Pd or Ag/Pd, Pd resinate, Cr resinate and an organic vehicle. Preferably, the Pd resinate contains sulfur in the molecule. Also preferably, the paste contains the Pd resinate in an amount of about 2.0-3.0 parts by weight as Pd, based on 100 parts by weight of Pd in the metal powder, and the Cr resinate in an amount of about 0.03-0.12 parts by weight as Cr.sub.2 O.sub.3, based on 100 parts by weight of the metal powder.

摘要: An improved compact induction system for a V type engine including a pair of plenum chambers disposed in the valley of the V. The plenum chambers are shorter than the respective cylinder banks and serve high speed intake passages of the respective cylinder bank and some longer, low speed intake passages of the adjacent cylinder bank and some low speed intake passages of the other cylinder bank. All of the low speed intake passages have the same length.

摘要: A green power demand management device includes: a power meter which receives power from a power distribution system with a plurality of power generating units, and supplies a received power to a first appliance; a receiver which receives energy mixture information showing a power generation proportion among each power generating unit, a measuring unit which measures electric energy consumed by the first appliance, a setting unit which sets a first threshold, and an operating state control manager which uses an intensity conversion table including emission intensities each representing an amount of an environmental load material emitted by each power generating unit, obtains a second threshold by dividing the first threshold by sum total of the emission intensity of each power generating unit weighted by the proportion, and controls the first appliance so that electric energy consumption of the first appliance is equal to or smaller than the second threshold.

摘要: Provided is an apparatus determining values of N and K for an abnormality diagnostic logic which makes a diagnosis N times for each diagnosis target by using observation values collected therefrom, and generates a diagnosis result showing that the diagnosis target is abnormal if the diagnosis target is judged to be abnormal K or more times. A calculator calculates average false detection rate PFP, average overlooking rate PFN, bias level of false detection MFP, and bias level of overlooking MFN, based on diagnosis result data and inspection result data. A determiner calculates an optimization metric for each combination of values N and K by using the average false detection rate, the bias level of false detection, the average overlooking rate, and the bias level of overlooking, and selects a pair of N and K by which the optimization metric becomes minimum or a threshold value or less.

摘要: There is provided a control circuit for arithmetically processing at least one of focus-directional and tracking-directional position error signals, and adding the arithmetic operation result as an input amount to a coil for driving in the opposite direction. The control circuit produces such a control signal as to cancel the effect of an oscillation mode of an objective lens holder. An output determination circuit temporarily restricts functions of the control circuit when the determination circuit has determined that a disturbance component is mixed in the position error signal. Thereby, even in the case of slight displacement, the objective lens can be controlled independently in the focusing and tracking directions while avoiding interference movement in both directions.

摘要: There is provided a photodetector which has the function of measuring the intensity distribution of light with a simple and inexpensive construction and which has a selectivity for a measured wavelength band. The photodetector comprises a transparent semiconductor electrode part and counter electrode part on each of which a sensitizing dye is applied, and a buffer layer sandwiched therebetween, the counter electrode part or the transparent semiconductor electrode part being divided into a plurality of electrode cells. Thus, it is possible to realize a compact photodetector which carries out a photoelectric transfer using part of light in a wavelength band absorbed into the sensitizing dye and which has a wavelength selectively.

摘要: Before tracking control, tilt control is performed using an offset value of a differential phase tracking error signal obtained by performing signal process of the outputs from, e.g., a 4-split photodetector. A direction in which the tilting angle of the tilt control is to be corrected is determined based on information indicating whether the center value of the differential phase tracking error signal is “offset to plus or minus”. Hence, tilt servo that aims at an optimal point is made while observing the amplitude of the differential phase tracking error signal using this offset polarity information.
