    摘要: The system proposes software barcode mechanism and Hardware barcode mechanism to read new barcode symbology. In the software barcode based system, a scanner is used to scan the barcode. The barcode information is further sent to a decoding unit. The decoding unit extracts data from the received undecoded data and converts them to corresponding scale unit. In a hardware based barcode system, a plurality of slider pins attached to a slider header slides over the hardware barcodes. The electric signals corresponding to value of barcode at each point is transmitted to a decoding unit. The decoding unit processes the received signals and converts the signals to corresponding scale unit. Further the scale unit refers to the length of the material or distance between materials.

    摘要: A method for calibrating a fixed gain amplifier configured as a front-end amplification stage of an analog-to-digital converter including sampling a calibration voltage with normal and inversed polarity and with the fixed gain amplifier bypassed and with the fixed gain amplifier connected. An actual gain value of the fixed gain amplifier is computed from offset corrected digital output codes generated from converting the calibration voltage. A gain correction value for the fixed gain amplifier can then be computed based on the ratio of the actual gain to the ideal gain. In another embodiment, a method for calibrating an analog-to-digital converter including a fixed gain amplifier, an input buffer and a modulator generates an offset correction value using normal and polarity inversed input samples. The offset correct value provides correction for at least offset errors in the fixed gain amplifier, the input buffer and the modulator.

    摘要: Methods, components, and systems for efficient authentication, either through a digital signature or message authentication codes, and verification of a digital stream sent from a source to a receiver via zero or more intermediaries, such that the source or intermediary (or both) can remove certain portions of the data stream without inhibiting the ability of the ultimate receiver to verify the authenticity and integrity of the data received. According to the invention, a source may sign an entire data stream once, but may permit either itself or an intermediary to efficiently remove certain portions of the stream before transmitting the stream to the ultimate recipient, without having to re-sign the entire stream. Applications may include the signing of media streams which often need to be further processed to accommodate the resource requirements of a particular environment. Another application allows an intermediary to choose an advertisement to include in a given slot.
