Abstract:
An image forming apparatus includes an image forming unit which forms an image, a power supply which converts input alternating current (AC) power and outputs direct current (DC) power having a predetermined level to operate the image forming unit; a mechanical power switch through which the AC power is supplied and/or shut off, a switch circuit unit which includes a soft power switch to select a turned-on status and/or a turned-off status in accordance with a user's handling, and outputs a switch signal corresponding to a status of the soft power switch, a power controller which selectively supplies the DC power from the power supply to the image forming unit on the basis of the switch signal, and a discharging circuit unit which discharges remaining power of the power supply if the AC power is shut off by the mechanical power switch. Accordingly, a user may quickly turn on/off power using a power switch, and mistaken malfunction may be prevented.
Abstract:
A display driving circuit includes a clock dividing unit and a data processing unit. The clock dividing unit receives a first clock signal, generates a second clock signal having a second clock frequency by dividing the first clock signal having a first clock frequency, and outputs the second clock signal. The data processing unit receive the first clock signal, the second clock signal, and input data with a first data frequency, separates input data into first data and second data, outputs the first data based on the second clock signal, and outputs the second data with a second data frequency based on the first clock signal.
Abstract:
An optical disk apparatus is disclosed which includes a first printed circuit board, on which a first circuit pattern is formed; a rotor, on which an optical disk may be placed, and which is electrically connected with the first circuit pattern; a second printed circuit board, which is stacked adjacent to the rotor on a surface of the first printed circuit board, and on which a second circuit pattern is formed; a sensor unit, which is mounted on the second printed circuit board in electrical connection with the second circuit pattern, and which is configured to sense a rotation of the optical disk; and a support plate, which supports the first printed circuit board and the rotor. In this optical disk apparatus, a separate printed circuit board can be utilized to support the sensor unit, whereby manufacturing costs can be reduced and working efficiency can be improved.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a sensorless-type brushless DC motor, including: a magnet provided in a rotor; and a stator formed by winding a coil on a core stacked with sheets while facing the magnet, wherein the position of the rotor is detected by detecting back electromotive force induced to the coil, the back electromotive force includes a harmonic component 5 times higher than a fundamental wave, and an amplitude ratio of the 5-times harmonic wave to the fundamental wave is set to be 1% or more. Further, the sensorless-type brushless DC motor can prevent a failure in detecting an initial position of the rotor by controlling a waveform of the back electromotive force and minimize an increase of a starting time.
Abstract:
