Abstract:
Topcoat compositions are provided that can be used in immersion lithography to form photoresist patterns. The topcoat compositions include a solvent system that comprises 1) a first organic solvent represented by formula (I), wherein R1 and R2 are alkyl groups of 3-8 carbons and the total number of carbons of R1 and R2 is greater than 6; and 2) a second organic solvent that is a C4 to C10 monovalent alcohol.
Abstract:
The present invention pertains to an ethylene interpolymer composition characterized as having a narrow molecular weight distribution (MWD) and optimized compositional uniformity, a process for making such a composition and a fabricated article made from such composition. The novel composition is characterized as having at least two polymer components, the first component having an ATREF peak temperature, Tpeak1 and a viscosity average molecular weight, Mv1, and the second component having an ATREF peak temperature, Tpeak2, and a viscosity average molecular, Mv2, wherein the temperature differential between Tpeak2 and Tpeak1 decreases with iincreased composition density and Mv1/Mv2 is less than or equal to 1.2. The novel composition is further characterized as having a Mw/Mn of less than or equal to 3.3 as determined by gel permeation chromatography, an I10/I2>6.6, and a composition density less than 0.945 gram/cubic centimeter. The novel composition exhibits high, balanced toughness properties, good processibility and surprisingly improved optical properties and is particularly well-suited for use in applications such as lamination films trash can liners and heavy duty shipping bags, especially as a blown film.
Abstract:
There is disclosed a roof module (10) configured for assembly to a body of an automotive vehicle. The module is comprised of a roof portion (12) and one or more transparent panels (14) wherein the one or more transparent panels (14) is attached to the roof portion (12) prior to assembly of the module (10) to the body of the vehicle.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a unitary run flat tire (RFT) reinforcement using filament material that is formed into a relatively rigid shape. The reinforcement is insertable into a mold for an RFT support and can maintain the needed structural rigidity for such insertion. Further, the invention provides an RFT support that is molded and includes the RFT reinforcement. The invention also provides a wheel assembly including a tire, a rim, and an RFT support between the rim and the tire, where the support includes the RFT reinforcement. The RFT support can have a colored indicator formed or subsequently applied thereto to indicate one or more attributes of the support.
Abstract:
Disclosed are stable aqueous polyurethane latexes prepared from prepolymer formulations including a polyisocyanate component and polyol component, wherein from 5 to 40 percent of the weight of the polyol component is ethylene oxide in the form of ethylene oxide applied as an end cap onto a propylene oxide or higher oxyalkylene polyoxyalkylene polyol, and no more than 45 percent of the weight of polyol component is ethylene oxide. These latexes are prepared without the use of organic solvents.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to elastic articles comprising a crosslinked or crosslinkable ethylene polymer and a method for making the same. In particular, the invention relates to a shaped article (e.g. film or fiber) characterized by improved elasticity at elevated temperatures and comprising a substantially cured, irradiated, or crosslinked (or curable, irradiated or crosslinkable) homogeneously branched ethylene polymer. The improved elastic article of the present invention is particularly suitable for use in applications where good elasticity must be maintained at elevated temperatures such as, for example, personal hygiene items and disposable infection-control garments at body temperatures of about 100null F. (38null C.).
Abstract:
The present invention relates to functionalized catalyst supports that are useful in the formation of supported polymerization catalysts, supported catalysts derived from such functionalized catalyst supports, methods for preparing such functionalized catalyst supports and supported catalysts, and polymerization processes utilizing such supported catalysts. The functionalized catalyst supports comprise a particulated, solid support material having chemically bonded thereto a plurality of conjugated or non-conjugated diene or alkyne functionalized ligand groups, said composition being capable of reacting with and tethering a catalytically activatable Group 3-10 or Lanthanide metal complex thereto.
