    摘要: A polymer having bis(diphenylphosphino)binaphthyl groups that can be used as a catalyst for an addition reaction, especially an asymmetric 1,4-addition reaction, or a reduction reaction, especially an asymmetric reduction reaction, and that can be easily recovered and recycled. The polymer having the bis(diphenylphosphino)binaphthyl groups is one resulting from repetition of a racemic or optically active 2,2′-bis(diphenylphosphino)-1,1′-binaphthyl compound substituted at 5-position thereof with an unsaturated terminal of one (meth)acryloyl group of a compound having multiple (meth)acryloyl groups, that another 2,2′-bis(diphenylphosphino)-1,1′-binaphthyl compound of a next unit is substituted at 5′-position thereof with an unsaturated terminal of another (meth)acryloyl group of the compound having multiple (meth)acryloyl groups so as to have a molecular weight of 1500 to 10000. The reduction catalyst comprises this polymer and a transition metal.

    摘要: The present invention provides a continuous process for the epoxidation of an olefinic compound with an oxidant, which process comprises reaction of an olefinic compound with an oxidant in the presence of a catalyst in an apparatus that comprises a reactive distillation column, which column comprises (i) a reactive section, which comprises the catalyst (ii) a rectifying section situated above the reactive section and adapted to allow separation of reagents and/or by-products from products (ix) a stripping section situated below the reactive section and adapted to allow separation of product from reagents and/or by-products (x) a vessel situated below the stripping section and adapted to provide a source of heat for the column and in which initial vaporisation of one or more of the reagents can occur, wherein the temperature in the reactive section (i) is a temperature at which the reaction between the olefinic compound and the oxidant takes place and the temperature in the stripping section (iii) is higher than the temperature in the rectifying section (ii).

    摘要: The invention relates to the field of chemistry, especially organic chemistry, and more specifically the field of heterogeneous palladium catalysts used to catalyse chemical reactions involving the formation of carbon-carbon bonds. The invention also relates to a method for synthesising a heterogeneous palladium catalyst that can catalyse a C—C coupling reaction, the method essentially including steps of providing a solid substrate onto which groups of formula —PR1R2, wherein R1 is an optionally substituted alkyl group, or an optionally substituted cycloalkyl group, et R2 is an optionally substituted aryl group or an optionally substituted heteroaryl group, have been covalently bonded, and incorporating a catalytically effective amount of palladium into the resulting substituted substrate. The invention further relates to the resulting catalysts and to the uses thereof in C—C coupling reactions.
