摘要: A closed subscriber group (CSG) cell is a cell that allows use of subscribers. In order to receive the service by the CSG cell, a CSG-ID is required to be notified to a user equipment, which cannot be obtained in a situation outside the reach of radio waves from a non-CSG cell. In a mobile communication system including base stations respectively provided to a CSG cell and a non-CSG cell in which access is made to the CSG cell with the use of a CSG-ID issued in a case where use of the CSG cell is allowed, the base station provided in the CSG cell refers to the notified identification information of a user equipment and then transmits a tracking area update request from the user equipment to a core network, and the core network determines whether the user equipment is allowed to use the CSG cell and, in the case where the use is allowed, transmits a signal for allowing assignment of radio resources to the user equipment and the CSG-ID. The user equipment accesses the CSG cell with the use of the CSG-ID.

摘要: Since OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing), which is a downlink access scheme used for an LTE (Long Term Evolution) communication system, is weak at interference, it is preferable that the number of base stations for transmitting the same E-MBMS (Evolved Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service) data be not excessive. Thus, the mobile terminal performs: processing of obtaining measurement quality values by measuring reception quality of each base station; processing of deciding on whether the measurement quality value of a serving base station exceeds a certain receiving level; processing of adding measurement quality values of other base stations to the measurement quality value of the serving base station until the sum exceeds the certain receiving level; and processing of notifying the serving base station of the serving base station and other base stations as candidates for an active set for E-MBMS. This makes it possible to select as the active set for E-MBMS an appropriate number of base stations that make it compatible to maintain good reception quality and to prevent interference.

摘要: A communications method and a mobile terminal that constructs a communications system which transmits data by using an OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) method as a downlink access method, and also transmits data by using an SC-FDMA (Single Career Frequency Division Multiple Access) method as an uplink access method. The mobile terminal includes a processor that determines a candidate set including CCEs (Control Channel Elements), each of which is one of regions to which one frequency bandwidth is divided, for delivery of an L1/L2 control signal which is control information transmitted and received between a base station and the mobile terminal. In addition, the processor, which is at the mobile terminal, determines the candidate set based on the frequency bandwidth.

摘要: In a radio-frequency power amplifier device, having a radio-frequency power amplifier for an input RF signal, part of the output signal of the amplifier is extracted, and the extracted voltage is compared with a reference voltage to apply a negative feedback to the gain control terminal of the power amplifier, thereby to stabilize the output power. The output power value is switched in accordance with a power level control signal. A variable attenuator or a variable-coupling-coefficient coupling means provided in front of the detector circuit switches the attenuation or the coupling coefficient depending on the power level, such that the magnitude of the input to the detector circuit is maintained at a constant level. The detector circuit therefore operates at the same operating point regardless of the switching of the power level, and the dynamic range required of the detector circuit may be narrow. The temperature variation of the output power at the time of low power output is small.

摘要: A base station which uses either one of a plurality of component carriers individually or uses an aggregate carrier which is an aggregate of the above-mentioned plurality of component carriers to carry out radio communications with a mobile terminal corresponding to the above-mentioned component carrier and also carry out radio communications with a mobile terminal corresponding to the above-mentioned aggregate carrier is provided. The base station notifies a bandwidth of an aggregate carrier which is an aggregate of all of the above-mentioned component carriers, as a bandwidth which the above-mentioned base station uses, to the mobile terminal corresponding to the above-mentioned aggregate carrier. As a result, while an improvement in the transmission rate is provided according to the aggregate carrier, the base station can also support an operation of a mobile terminal corresponding to a component carrier.
