Abstract:
A double-cam fastener driving machine, including an energy storage unit; an impact unit for actuating the energy storage unit to store energy which can bear the energy released from the energy storage unit to drive the fastener into the workpiece; a rotating actuating unit; a pushing mechanism; a double-cam mechanism, comprising a first cam and a second cam which can be optionally engaged and disengaged, the first cam is connected to the rotating actuating unit and driven by the rotating actuating unit to rotate, the second cam is connected and linked with the pushing mechanism. The double-cam mechanism to implement engagement and disengagement of rotating actuating unit and pushing mechanism, and the impact unit is not disengaged from the pushing mechanism, so that the double-cam mechanism can be engaged correctly during quick release, normal nailing or nail jamming of impact unit.
Abstract:
Photoresponsive polymers that comprise a unit derived from an amide functional diol compound that includes a coumarin group are provided. Advantageously, the photoresponsive groups of the photoresponsive polymers may be used to control the viscosity of the photoresponsive polymer. The photoresponsize polymers may also include units derived from amide functional diol compounds with include a fatty acid chain or a polyethylene glycol chain. The photoresponsive polymers may be used for 3d printing. When an adhesive group is added to a photoresponsive polymer they may be used as an adhesive. Adhesive groups include catechol groups.
Abstract:
The invention discloses a mobile phone case with self-supporting, and includes a mobile phone case, the mobile phone case is provided with a buffer mechanism. The buffer mechanism includes a trapezoid block, a short groove, a hollow block, a mobile phone slot and three compressed buffer springs. The upper end wall of the mobile phone slot communicates with the outside and is used for storing the mobile phone. The lower end wall of the mobile phone groove is provided with a movable groove whose lower end wall communicates with the outside, and a support mechanism is slidably arranged in the movable groove; the device has a simple structure, is easy to operate, and can be freely adjusted in terms of the placement angle, and the support is in a stable triangle The structure is not easy to break, and when a large force is received, a buffer spring can be ejected, which has a certain protective effect on itself.
Abstract:
A virtual link bandwidth control scheme is described that is a software-based mechanism for achieving distributed and coordinated bandwidth control. The scheme can be seamlessly integrated with the data transfer protocols utilizing queuing delay as part of rate control mechanism for data transfer and allows multiple processes to self-limit their transfer speeds, so that the aggregate rate stabilizes at a pre-configured level below the physical bottleneck capacity.
Abstract:
A reusable liquid chromatographic column consists of three parts, a column body with an integral outlet port molded on one end, a sealing insert with an inlet port, and a perforated cap providing downward force to compress the sealing insert into the column body. A wedge-like seal is employed to seal the connection between the sealing insert and the column body. Two filters on both ends of the column body are used to prevent escape of packing materials from the column chamber under pressure. Hand tightening is adequate to seal the connection by screwing the perforated cap onto the column body. The column is reusable due to its simple disassembling and reassembling processes. It is also disposable due to its inexpensive fabricating materials and manufacturing process.
Abstract:
Methods for enhancing e-mail messages to provide preview enhanced e-mail messages that allow e-mail senders to associate customized preview content related to an e-mail message, including graphical images, that can be viewed by recipients directly from an e-mail inbox listing without opening the e-mail message itself. The e-mail messages have associated preview instructions, and have a preview trigger that upon actuation opens a temporary preview window on the inbox view and displays the preview content in accordance with the preview instructions while the preview trigger is actuated. The invention is applicable to web-based e-mail systems as well as to POP-based and proprietary e-mail systems.
Abstract:
Techniques for measuring the value of marketing contributions to deals are discussed. An account interest score of an account for a product or service is generated at a time of sale of the product or service to the account. The generating may be based on the individual interest scores of the members of the account for the product or service. The individual interest scores may be calculated based on marketing output that pertains to the product or service and is received by the members of the account before the sale. A determination is made that the account interest score exceeds a marketing contribution threshold value. Based on the determination that the account interest score exceeds the marketing contribution threshold value, a credit for the sale is assigned to a marketing organization that created the marketing output received by the members of the account before the sale.
Abstract:
The position of the sample is measured and used to correct for any off-axis motion during tomography using x-ray projection microscope system with a rotation stage system. The position is sensed using a precision-machined, low-CTE gold-coated cylinder or disc and three to five capacitive distance sensors. The correction can then be performed purely as image processing in software, by applying an appropriate shift in X and Y of the captured x-ray projections. A calibration is often necessary for each system (gold disc plus sensors plus sample stage) to account for any machining errors of the gold disc or positioning errors of the capacitive sensors. This calibration should also be repeated whenever any maintenance is performed on the metrology setup.
Abstract:
A novel chemical genus of furan-2-one antifouling compound as non-toxic, environment friendly antifouling agent, a coating material for objects submerged under the water based on the furan-2-one compounds. The substituted furan-2-one antifouling compounds have a furan-2-one ring and an alkyl side chain thereto and are of the formula: where n=6-14, representing the number of carbon atoms in said side chain.
