Abstract:
A method of manufacturing an adhesiveless flexible substrate modifies a surface of an electrically insulative flexible base material by plasma polymerization technology to form a layer of plasma polymer on a surface of the electrically insulative flexible base material before plating a copper layer on the base material so as to improve the bond strength of the copper layer and the base material. Because the layer of plasma polymer has a thin thickness and excellent mechanical properties, the adhesiveless flexible substrate is highly flexible.
Abstract:
A packaging process and structure of electronic device provides first a substrate having a carrying surface and a mounting surface wherein the carrying surface is divided into a device disposing region and a device peripheral region. Then a hydrophobic Fluorine-containing layer is formed in the device peripheral region of the substrate. Subsequently, an electronic device is attached in the device disposing region and is electrically connected to the substrate. Then, a molding compound is employed to encapsulate the electronic device. The bondability between the hydrophobic Fluorine-containing layer and the molding compound is weaker than the bondability between the molding compound and the substrate. Finally, a degating process is performed to remove the excess molding compound positioned at the hydrophobic Fluorine-containing layer to accomplish the packaging process of the electronic device.
Abstract:
An electronic apparatus using NAND flash memory and a memory management method thereof are provided. The electronic apparatus uses the NAND flash memory to record data in the system memory. In the present method, when a standby instruction is received, a fast flash standby (FFS) procedure is initiated, and a state of the NAND flash memory is checked to determine whether the NAND flash memory is suitable for recording the data in the system memory. If the state is determined as suitable for recording the data, the data in the system memory is copied to the NAND flash and the operating system of the electronic apparatus is controlled to enter a hibernate mode. On the contrary, if the state is determined as not suitable for recording the data, the operating system of the electronic apparatus is controlled to enter a standby mode.

The first transmission unit includes a first transceiver module and a first MAC module. The second transmission unit includes a second transceiver module and a second MAC module. The plurality of RF ends has a plurality of streams for transmitting a wireless signal. The control unit controls the plurality of switches to connect the first transmission unit and the second transmission unit respectively with the plurality of RF ends to distribute the plurality of streams, and controls the first transceiver module and the second transceiver module to manage the plurality of streams.
Abstract:
An electronic apparatus with an antenna, an anti-jamming system and a method are disclosed. The electronic apparatus comprises a casing and the antenna. The antenna is composed of a patterned metal thin film and a carrier and provided for processing a wireless signal. The casing and the antenna are made by injection molding. When the electronic apparatus has a display device, the anti-jamming system can modulate a clock signal generated by the display device to prevent the multiplication of clock signal from interfering with signals within an operating band of the antenna.

Abstract:
A system for receiving wireless signals is provided. The system includes an antenna for receiving wireless signals, a preprocessor connected to the antenna, a voltage supply for outputting distinctive DC voltage levels, a connector for providing a DC path and an AC path, a signal-processing module AC-coupled to the preprocessor via the connector, a DC regulator DC-coupled to the voltage supply via the connector, and a signal detector DC-coupled to the voltage supply via the connector, wherein the DC regulator is configured to receive the DC voltage outputted from the voltage supply and provide a first supply voltage to the preprocessor, and the signal detector is configured to detect the DC voltage outputted from the voltage supply and generate a control signal to the preprocessor. The preprocessor selectively adjusts strength of the wireless signals received by the antenna by means of the control signal, and then outputs a data signal which is subsequently transmitted to the signal-processing module via the connector.
Abstract:
In a method of mobile information services, a mobile information service device is connected to a remote information server and a telecommunications service provider so as to timely provide information to a hand-held mobile communications device. In the method, the mobile information service device searches the information server according to a filtering rule for information complying with the filtering rule, and sends a notification message to the hand-held mobile communications device through the telecommunications service provider such that the hand-held mobile communications device, after receipt of the notification message, downloads information related to the notification message from the information server, thereby achieving user convenience and ensuring information confidentiality, without incurring extra fees.
Abstract:
A method of displaying images includes detecting frequency of ambient light, updating frequency of a display device according to the frequency of the ambient light, and adjusting shutter frequencies of a pair of shutter glasses according to the frequency of the ambient light when the display device is in a 3D display mode. In this way, flickers caused by inconsistency between the frequency of the ambient light and the frequencies of the display device and the shutters of the shutter glasses can be avoided.
Abstract:
A method for controlling a network connection of a wireless network device includes: after the wireless network device is waked up from a sleep mode: loading a wireless network driver; determining whether a predetermined access point satisfies a predetermined rule under a condition that the wireless network driver does not scan access points; and when the predetermined access point satisfies the predetermined rule, the wireless network driver directly utilizes pre-stored network connection information to connect to the predetermined access point without scanning the access points.
