Abstract:
Methods, systems, and computer-readable medium for providing an audio file interface. In one implementation, a method is provided. The method includes, while playing an audio file on a mobile device and displaying a current view in a user interface of the mobile device, receiving first user input requesting that an audio interface be displayed, and displaying the audio interface as an overlay in the user interface, where the audio interface includes information associated with the audio file.
Abstract:
At a portable electronic device that includes a portable-device display and is in communication with a vehicle display, displaying a first user interface on the portable-device display. Sending, from the portable electronic device to the vehicle display, information for generating a second user interface, the second user interface including an affordance. While the second user interface is displayed on the vehicle display, detecting an input activating the affordance in the second user interface, and in response, causing the portable electronic device to invoke a digital assistant. In response to invoking the digital assistant, prompting a user for an audible request. In response to receiving the audible request, causing display, within the second user interface, of a digital assistant dialogue box; and subsequently causing display, within the second user interface, of a user interface object associated with a search result, and maintaining the first user interface on the portable-device display.
Abstract:
An augmented reality display system included in a vehicle generates an augmented reality display, on one or more transparent surfaces of the vehicle. The augmented reality display can include an indicator of the vehicle speed which is spatially positioned according to the speed of the vehicle relative to the local speed limit. The augmented reality display can include display elements which conform to environmental objects and can obscure and replace content displayed on the objects. The augmented reality display can include display elements which indicate a position of environmental objects which are obscured from direct perception through the transparent surface. The augmented reality display can include display elements which simulate one or more particular environmental objects in the environment, based on monitoring manual driving performance of the vehicle by a driver. The augmented reality display can include display elements which identify environmental objects and particular zones in the environment.
Abstract:
In accordance with some embodiments, an electronic device is described. In some embodiments, while displaying a user interface of a messaging application, the device concurrently displays at least a portion of a representation of a message, where the message is included in a first message folder of a plurality of message folders, and the plurality of message folders. In some embodiments, while concurrently displaying at least the portion of the representation of the message and the plurality of message folders, the device detects user selection of a second message folder. In some embodiments, in response to detecting the user selection, the device moves the message from the first message folder to the second message folder such that the message is included in the second message folder, and displays a graphical indication that the message has been moved from the first message folder to the second message folder.

Abstract:
Signals usable to determine a path of a vehicle towards a particular stopping point in a vicinity of a destination are detected from an individual authorized to provide guidance with respect to movements of the vehicle. Based at least in part on the signals and a data set pertaining to the external environment of the vehicle, one or more vehicular movements to be implemented to proceed along the path are identified. A directive is transmitted to a motion control subsystem of the vehicle to initiate one of the vehicular movements.
Abstract:
A device displays a first user interface on a first display, including a plurality of objects and corresponding to a second user interface on a second display. While a first object is displayed as a selected object in the second user interface, the device: detects a first input requesting information about a second object; and in response to detecting the first input, displays information about the second object in the first user interface and maintains display of the first object as the selected object in the second user interface. After displaying the information, the device detects a second input selecting the second object. In response to detecting selection of the second input, the device: displays the second object as the selected object in the first user interface; and provides, to the second display, information that enables the second user interface to display the second object as the selected object.
Abstract:
Mobile devices can provide app recommendations that are relevant to a location of interest. A localized app recommendation can be triggered (e.g., by a mobile device coming within a threshold distance of an application hotspot or some other user action). A location of interest can be determined. The location of interest can be the current location of the mobile device or another location (e.g., the destination in a mapping app). Using the location of interest, a localized application ranking database with app hotspot data can be queried with location data representing the location of interest. App recommendations can be received and displayed on the mobile device. Icons for apps that are relevant to the location of interest can be visually distinguished from other apps.
Abstract:
Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for securely conducting online payments with a secure element of an electronic device are provided. In one example embodiment, a method includes, inter alia, at an electronic device, generating first data that includes payment card data, generating second data by encrypting the first data and merchant information with a first key, transmitting to a commercial entity subsystem the generated second data, receiving third data that includes the first data encrypted with a second key that is associated with the merchant information, and transmitting the received third data to a merchant subsystem that is associated with the merchant information, where the first key is not accessible to the merchant subsystem, and where the second key is not accessible to the electronic device. Additional embodiments are also provided.
