摘要： The atypical antipsychotic drugs (AAPDs) have markedly enhanced the treatment of schizophrenias but their use has been hindered by the major weight gain elicited by some AAPDs. We found that orexigenic AAPDs potently and selectively activate hypothalamic AMP kinase (AMPK), an action abolished in mice with deletion of histamine H1 receptors. These findings afford a means of developing better therapeutic agents and provide insight into the hypothalamic regulation of food intake.

摘要： A connector for a flexible flat cable comprises a clamping seat provided at the front and rear ends thereof with an insertion, terminal recesses and a cover plate respectively, at each of the outer walls of two of the terminal recesses, which are located at the leftmost and rightmost sides, is formed a slot, and on the cover plate being disposed bores, at each of two sides of the clamping seat being arranged a retaining member, a locking member defined at the front end thereof with an inserting segment and snap-on tabs; wherein the retaining member is connected to the clamping seat by using a connecting portion in its intermediate projected section, and is provided at its front and rear ends with a hook and a bent end wall respectively, a groove is formed for spacing the retaining member and the outer side of the clamping seat apart, thereby achieving a secure retaining purpose and preventing the operational fatigue.

摘要： The catheter includes an inner column and an outer elastic member. The inner column is bendable wherein the column strength and flexibility of the inner column are adjusted by axially tensioning the outer elastic member. The inner column comprises a helical spring, slotted or slit tube, or individual links that, when axially compressed by advancement forces or by tensioning an elastic outer sheath, assume a straight or other pre-determined geometry. The column strength and flexibility of the catheter may be adjusted during introduction of the catheter into a body lumen as necessitated by the conditions encountered, as well as made highly flexible when left in position.

摘要： An adapter for a fluorescent is adapted to apply to cold cathode fluorescent tube on LED display and has a cover with two inner grooves and a switch portion having a track, a body slidably engaged with the cover, a metallic terminal stand attached to and controlled by the switch portion. The body has two rails correspondingly engaged with the grooves of the cover and has a recess for resting the fluorescent tube. The metallic terminal stand has two resilient arms close each other to perform a Y-shaped opening at distal ends and an oval expansion hole below the Y-shaped opening. When the cover is pushed to slide along the trail on the body, the track on the body with a narrow section presses abutting faces on the resilient arms and limits the expansion of the resilient arms on the metallic terminal stand so as to quickly and detachably clamp the fluorescent tube.

The guiding pins are urged by the recess and the wavelike surface such that the guiding pins will not dislocate in the soldering process to remove the plastic housing, the top cap is lifted up and the guiding pins are released, but the guiding pins are retained on the circuit board.
