摘要： An operating method and an apparatus according to data duplicate retransmission in a mobile communication system are provided. A method of a User Equipment (UE) according to data duplicate retransmission in a mobile communication system includes storing a Media Access Control Protocol Data Unit (MAC PDU) received from an Evolved Node B (ENB) in a soft buffer, decoding the MAC PDU, determining whether the decoding is a first successful decoding of data of the corresponding soft buffer, and determining whether to forward the decoded MAC PDU to an upper layer according to the determination result.

The method for controlling the DRX of a terminal in a mobile communication system includes the steps of: receiving DRX-setting information from a base station; determining whether or not a first condition is satisfied, the first condition being that a current subframe exists between a first time point when receiving the DRX-setting information and a second time point when an event triggering the application of a short DRX cycle occurs; and applying a preset DRX cycle when the first condition is satisfied.

摘要： A secondary carrier activation/deactivation method for activating/deactivating secondary carriers in addition to a primary carrier is provided for a mobile communication system supporting carrier aggregation. The method includes identifying, when a secondary carrier control message is received from a base station, carriers to be activated are deactivated, determining, when the message includes a secondary carrier activation command, whether a first time point has arrived, and executing, when the first time point arrives, predetermined first operations. The present invention is advantageous to avoid malfunctions in communication system supporting carrier aggregation by defining UE operations to be taken in SCell activation and deactivation.

摘要： To solve the above-mentioned problem, a method in which a terminal reports channel state information comprises the following steps: receiving, from a base station, information on a plurality of patterns to be used in a channel state measurement; receiving, from the base station, selection information for selecting a pattern from among the plurality of patterns that is to be used in the channel state information to be reported to the base station; measuring a channel state using the information on the plurality of patterns; and selecting a portion of the measured channel state based on the selection information, and reporting the selected portion to the base station. The above-described solution enables the efficient reporting of channel state information including CQIICSI, thus improving communication efficiency.

摘要： A method and apparatus for enabling efficient use of radio resources by reducing an RLC PDU size in a mobile communication system supporting voice service over a packet network are provided. An RLC layer constructs an RLC PDU without inserting information indicating the start and end of an SDU or indicating the use or non-use of padding. The RLC layer sets an LI in a header to indicate inclusion of an intermediate SDU segment in the data field of the RLC PDU. Therefore, the resulting decrease of overhead arising from packet transmission facilitates the efficient use of limited radio resources.

摘要： A power headroom report method and apparatus of a User Equipment (UE) provides an efficient resource allocation in a mobile communication system. The power headroom report method of the present disclosure includes calculating a power headroom change by comparing the current power headroom and the previous power headroom. The method also includes determining, when the power headroom change is greater than a predetermined threshold value, whether a report prohibit timer set to a predetermined value has expired. The method further includes reporting the current power headroom when the report prohibit timer has expired, and resetting the prohibit timer to a different value.
