    摘要: An exhaust gas purifying apparatus for an internal combustion engine is provided for switching a switching valve at an optimal timing in accordance with an actual activated state of a catalyzer to achieve an optimal exhaust gas characteristic. The exhaust gas purifying apparatus comprises a catalyzer disposed in an exhaust system of the internal combustion engine, an adsorbent filled in a second passage circumventing a first passage in the exhaust system for adsorbing hydrocarbons within exhaust gases, a switching valve operable to switch between an open position for opening the first passage and a close position for closing the first passage, an ECU for detecting a temperature state of the exhaust system upon start of the internal combustion engine, and calculating the calory of exhaust gases discharged after the start of the internal combustion engine, and a switching valve driver for driving the switching valve to the close position upon start of the internal combustion engine, and driving the switching valve to the open position in accordance with the detected start-time temperature state of the exhaust system, and the calculated post-start exhaust gas calory.

    摘要: An exhaust gas purification system of internal combustion engine having a branch pipe coupled to the exhaust pipe through a flange and having a first cylindrical case constituting a bypass exhaust gas passage and a second cylindrical case constituting a main exhaust gas passage, whose flow are switched by a switch-over valve by selectively connecting the exhaust pipe to the main exhaust gas passage or the bypass exhaust gas passage, and an adsorbent installed in the bypass exhaust gas passage for adsorbing unburned components of the exhaust gas. The unburned exhaust gas components are recirculated to the air intake system through an EGR pipe. In the system, an inlet of the EGR pipe is formed integrally with the branch pipe flange, thereby enabling to prevent increase in fabrication step and cost and further to facilitate maintenance. Moreover, the first cylindrical case is made displace relative to the second cylindrical case. This can prevent the deformation due to the thermal stress which could occur when they are different in temperature.

    摘要: A reader/writer (RW) requires identification information pieces of respective plural IC cards (A, B, C). The plural IC cards return the respective identification information pieces in response to the requirement by the reader/writer. Logical addresses are assigned to some IC cards among the plural IC cards respectively to cause the reader/writer to select them in response to the return of the identification information pieces by the plural IC cards. The IC cards selected by the reader/writer are controlled. The reader/writer cancels the assignment of the logical address to one of the selected IC cards. The logical address, the assignment of which has been canceled by the reader/writer, is assigned to an IC card among the plural IC cards to which any logical address has not been assigned yet. The IC card to which the logical address has just been assigned is controlled.

    摘要: A scroll type compressor is disclosed which includes a housing with an inner chamber and fluid inlet and outlet ports connected to the inner chamber. A fixed scroll, which is mounted within the housing, has an end plate from which a first spiral wrap extends. An orbiting scroll also is mounted within the housing for orbital motion with respect to the fixed scroll. The orbiting scroll has an end plate from which a second spiral wrap extends; and the first and second wraps interfit to define at least one pair of sealed off fluid pockets. The end plate of the fixed scroll partitions the inner chamber of the housing into a suction chamber and rear chamber. The end plate of the fixed scroll has at least one pair of holes for adjusting the displacement of the compressor. A control mechanism selectively controls fluid communication through the holes. The axial end surface of the second wrap is provided with a seal element which forms an axial seal between the second wrap and the end plate of the fixed scroll. An anti-wear plate is disposed on the end surface of the fixed end plate to prevent from friction between the seal element and end surface of the end plate. The anti-wear plate has cut-out portions facing the holes. Each cut-out portion has a predetermined shape and area to prevent cutting of the seal element and to minimize pressure loss.
