    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatus related to solar water splitting. In one aspect, a structure includes a plurality of first nanowires, the plurality of first nanowires comprising an n-type semiconductor or a p-type semiconductor. The structure further includes a second nanowire, the second nanowire comprising the n-type semiconductor or the p-type semiconductor, the second nanowire being a different composition than the plurality of first nanowires. The second nanowire includes a first region and a second region, with the first region having a conductive layer disposed thereon, and each of the plurality of first nanowires being disposed on the conductive layer.

    Abstract: A mercury-free lead-free button battery includes a negative cap, a cathode material, a gasket ring, a positive can, an anode material, and a diaphragm. The positive can and the negative cap are combined. The gasket ring is clamped between the positive can and the negative cap for separating the positive can from the negative cap. The cathode material is arranged on the bottom of the positive can. The diaphragm is arranged on the cathode material. The anode material is arranged between the negative cap and the diaphragm. A partition unit is arranged between the negative cap and the anode material for separating the anode material from the negative cap and conductively connecting the anode material and the negative cap. The partition unit ensures disconnection between the anode material and the negative cap and therefore safety of the battery by preventing expansion, weeping and even that would otherwise happen.

The fixation part is removably surrounded to the waist of the user and supported on the pelvis of the user; the lower end of the memory alloy support part is fixed and supported on the fixation part; the spring part includes at least a first coil spring, the first coil spring is sleeved in the support part; and the wearing part is removably worn on the chest and the shoulder of the user, the wearing part is assembled in the upper end of the support part. With the longitudinal support by the memory alloy support part and the spring part, the gravity above the chest and the waist is supported by the pelvis to relieve the force of the waist.

    Abstract: Methods, compositions and articles of manufacture involving conformationally flexible conjugated polymers are provided. A structure is provided comprising the conformationally flexible conjugated polymer bound to or associated with at least one member of a binding pair comprising a sensor molecule and a target molecule or the complex they form. The conformationally flexible conjugated polymer comprises at least one angled linker having bonds to its two adjacent polymeric units which form an angle of less than about 155° with respect to one another. Methods of use of such structures and solutions comprising them are also provided.

    Abstract: A wireless system may receive a plurality of multipath signals from a plurality of transmitters and allocate per-cell modules for generating an interference suppressed signal from the multipath signals. Data symbols may be sequentially processed in the received multipath signals utilizing the per-cell modules and subtracting the processed symbols from a residual buffer storing the received multipath signals. Desired information received from one or more of the transmitters may be recovered utilizing the interference suppressed signal. Timing of the data symbols may be correlated utilizing a cell chip combiner. The data symbols may be descrambled utilizing conjugated scrambling codes associated with one of the plurality of transmitters. Orthogonal variable spreading factor (OVSF) codes may be generated utilizing a Walsh transform on the data symbols. Power levels of the OVSF codes may be estimated and estimated signals may be generated based on the OVSF codes and the estimated power levels.
