A radio resource management method is provided. Data for transmission is stored. The stored data is associated with user equipment (UE). A channel quality is estimated. A first modulation and coding scheme (MCS) is determined based at least in part on the estimated channel quality. A first number of scheduling blocks (SBs) required to transmit the stored data is determined based at least in part on the first MCS. The first number of SBs are a minimum of an initial number of SBs and available amount of SBs. A link quality is calculated based at least in part on a channel condition associated with the first number of SBs. A second MCS is determined based at least in part on the calculated link quality and a link quality requirement.

A method for transmitting information by using Cyclic Prefix (CP) timeslots includes a transmitter transmitting CP information at a portion of CP timeslots when transmitting the timeslots or transmitting no CP information at CP timeslots when transmitting the CP timeslots. A method for using CP timeslots effectively and an apparatus for using CP timeslots are also disclosed.

A method and system for operating a gas turbine engine power system are provided. The system includes a gas turbine engine system that includes a gas turbine engine coupled to an electrical generator through a first shaft wherein the gas turbine engine includes a compressor, a combustion chamber, and a turbine drivingly coupled to the compressor and the electrical generator. The system also includes a variable speed electrical motor coupled to a load through a second shaft and a variable speed drive selectably couplable to the electrical generator during a starting sequence of the gas turbine engine system in a first configuration of the gas turbine engine power system and to the variable speed motor in a second configuration of the gas turbine engine power system.

The processing apparatus can further include infrastructure communication circuitry that can receive a request from a user application executing in the user space. The infrastructure communication circuitry can perform a service mesh operation, in response to the request, without a sidecar proxy. Other systems and methods are described.

The invention discloses a method for producing 30-halogenated betulinic acid. Betulin is used as a raw material and selectively oxidized and halogenated to generate 30-betulinic acid, and the selected oxidation and halogenation agent has high selectivity and does not affect C-3 hydroxyl or carbon-carbon double bonds. Oxidation and halogenation are completed in one step, so the process route is short, the treatment method is simple, and the product is purified easily.

A rotor device of an integrated starter-generator motor and a rotor working system are disclosed in the present invention. The rotor device is a monobloc casted and then machined, inseparable one-piece structure. The rotor device takes the shape of a straw hat and is provided with an external side surface of a hat top being surface (11), an external side surface of a hat brim being surface (13), an inner side surface of the hat brim being surface (12) and a surface (14) which connects the surface (11) with the surface (13). The surface (11) of the rotor device is provided with multiple through holes (1) used for fixing with a crankshaft (82). The surface (12) of the rotor device is provided with multiple threaded holes (2) used for connecting with a clutch. The threaded holes (2) pass through the surface (13) corresponding to the surface (12). The rotor device of integrated type provided in the invention replaces a traditional fabricated rotor device which comprises a rotor supporting frame of a motor, an engine flywheel, a clutch driving disc and so on. Stability and consistency of the system of the integrated starter-generator motor are improved by the technical solution.
Abstract:
Lossless video data compression is performed in real time at the data rate of incoming real time video data in a process employing a minimum number of computational steps for each video pixel. Each pixel 8-bit byte is converted to a difference byte representing the difference between the pixel and its immediate predecessor in a serialized stream of the pixel bytes. This reduces the dynamic range of the data. Any carry bits generated in the subtraction process of two's complement arithmetic are discarded. This reduces the data by a factor of two. Finally, the 8-bit difference pixel bytes thus produced are subject to a maximum entropy encoding process. Such a maximum entropy encoding process may be referred to as a minimum length encoding process.
