    Abstract: A wavelength-converting device includes a substrate and a reflective layer. The reflective layer is disposed on the substrate, among which when an operating temperature of the reflective layer is higher than or equal to 130° C., the reflective layer is formed of a first metallic material, and when the operating temperature of the reflective layer is lower than 130° C., the reflective layer is formed of a second metallic material. The reflectivity of the second metallic material is higher than the reflectivity of the first metallic material at room temperature. By forming the reflective layer of the first metallic material and the second metallic material at different operating temperatures, respectively, the decay of the reflectivity is effectively avoided, the reflectivity is optimized, and the converting efficiency of the wavelength-converting device is enhanced.

    Abstract: An illumination module includes a lens and a plurality of light-emitting elements. The light-emitting elements are symmetrically arranged in a ring shape around a central axis. A plurality of lights are emitted and transmitted to the lens by the light-emitting elements. The lights, which are incident to the lens, are symmetrically arranged in a ring shape around the center of the lens, so that each of the lights transmitted through and outputted from the lens has the same refraction angle as each other. As a result, the tolerance issues are avoided, the fabrication cost and time cost are reduced, the difficulty of fabricating and designing are reduced, and the energies of the focused light point are equally distributed.

    Abstract: A phosphor device of an illumination system emitting a first waveband light includes a substrate and a phosphor layer formed on the substrate. The phosphor layer includes a first phosphor agent and a second phosphor agent. The first waveband light is converted into a first color light by the first phosphor agent. The second phosphor agent is distributed over the first phosphor agent and mixed with the first phosphor agent, and the first waveband light is converted into a second color light by the second phosphor agent. The first color light and the second color light are integrated into the second waveband light. The difference between the first wavelength peak of the first color light and the second wavelength peak of the second color light is 50 to 100 nanometers. Therefore, the advantages of increasing the purity, the luminance and the luminous intensity of specific color light are achieved.

    Abstract: A color wheel rotation speed detecting module is disclosed and includes a color wheel, a motor, a rotation speed detector and a processor. The color wheel includes a first segment and at least one second segment. The motor drives the color wheel to rotate. The rotation speed detector includes an emitter and a receiver. The emitter outputs a light signal to the first segment or the second segment of the color wheel when the color wheel is rotated. When the receiver receives the light signal reflected from the second segment, the receiver outputs a detecting signal correspondingly. When the light signal passes through the first segment and the receiver fails to receive the light signal, the receiver interrupts the output of the detecting signal. The processor receives the detecting signal from the receiver, and obtains the rotating speed of the color wheel according to the detecting signal varied with time.

    Abstract: A phosphor wheel includes a substrate, at least a phosphor agent and a plurality of vortex generators. The substrate has a first region and a second region. The second region has a plurality of openings. The phosphor agent is disposed on the first region for converting the wavelength of waveband light. Each vortex generator includes at least a guide vane. Therefore, the efficiency of heat exchange is enhanced, the temperature of light spot is reduced, and further the output efficiency of light of the phosphor agent is increased.

    Abstract: A wavelength-converting device includes a first substrate, a second substrate and a first wavelength-converting material. The first substrate has a first region and a first engagement portion. The second substrate is disposed adjacent to the first substrate and having a second region and a second engagement portion. The second engagement portion and the first engagement portion have complementary shapes. The first wavelength-converting material is disposed on the second region for converting a light in a first waveband into a light in a second waveband. The light in the first waveband is transmitted through the first region, and the light in the second waveband is reflected by the second region. The first region and the second region are staggered, so that the first engagement portion and the second engagement portion are engaged and fixed with each other.     Abstract: An illumination module includes a light source, a color wheel, an actuator, and a reflective unit. The light source is for providing a light beam with a first wavelength band. The color wheel has an outer annular section and an inner annular section. The color wheel includes a wavelength conversion segment disposed at the outer annular section and a plurality of filter segments disposed at the inner annular section. The wavelength conversion segment is configured to convert a portion of the light beam with the first wavelength band into a light beam with a second wavelength band, and has at least one wavelength conversion material including yttrium aluminum garnet (YAG) phosphors. The filter segments are respectively configured to filter desired wavelength bands of the light beam. The reflective unit is configured to reflect the light beam passing through the outer annular section to the inner annular section.
