摘要: The present invention is directed to a device that measures volatile organic compounds (VOCs) emitted by an individual's urine, feces or present in flatulence for use in assessing the individual's health. The device may be part of a toilet. The device includes a gas sensor that measures VOCs in the air within the toilet bowl after waste is deposited therein. The device includes a manifold that keeps air from the toilet bowl separate from water and waste in the toilet bowl until the gas sensor has collected readings. Then the manifold combines the air, water, and waste before depositing the material into the sewer system. The gas sensor may be connected to a processor that analyses the gas sensor readings, provides a report of the analyzed data, and transmits the data to a network. A healthcare provider may download the data from the network to assess the individual's health.

摘要: We disclose a health metric validation system in which a first heath metric is taken which is a measurement that is relevant to a user's health status. The first health metric may be used to diagnose a disease. A second metric is collected from the user and used to validate the first health metric. The first health metric and the second metric are entered into a computer which applies a first set of rules to the first health metric and second metric. The computer calculates a weight value and assigns it to the first health metric. The computer applies a second set of rules to the first health metric and its weight value to calculate an indicator value. The indicator value provides an indication of the validity of the first health metric.

摘要: The bidet system may include multiple seat scales which may float between the toilet bowl rim and the toilet seat. These seat scales may collect measurements which are transmitted to a controller. The controller may include instructions to calculate a user's center of mass based on the measurements and to identify the position of the user's anus based on the center of mass. The controller may then transmit instructions to a bidet wand directing direct the bidet wand to a position which aims a cleansing fluid spray toward the user's anus. A camera which collects images of the user's anal and urogenital region may also be included in the bidet system. The camera may transmit obfuscated images to the controller to identify other areas of the user's anatomy in need of cleansing. The controller may direct the bidet wand to aim a cleansing fluid spray toward these areas.

摘要: The present invention is directed to a toilet which is a medical device and which includes multiple sensors and mechanisms for analyzing health metrics that may include biomarkers. The toilet is in communication with a computer processer that is programmed to evaluate the validity of collected health metrics. One set of metrics may inform the validity of another set of metrics. Each data point within the multiple health metrics is assigned a weight value that is an indicator of its validity. Data points may be excluded from calculations if deemed to be invalid. Data points may also be flagged as requiring additional information about the user to determine its validity or interpretation. Methods of using the toilet to assess the health status of a user is also disclosed.

摘要: We disclose a drug tracking system and method of use which may be used to screen a user's bodily waste and to collect information about the drugs the user has consumed. The system includes mixing or adhering a drug tag with a drug compound. The drug tag includes at least one nucleic acid or nucleic acid analog, the unique nucleotide sequence of which correlates to information about the drug. The unique sequence may correlate with a drug molecule, a drug class, a manufacturer, and/or a distributer. Each of these categories of information may be incorporated into the nucleotide sequence of a separate nucleic acid or nucleic acid analog molecules or combined in a single molecule. The sequence of the drug tag may be entered into a database which stores the drug information associated with each discrete nucleotide sequence.

摘要: We disclose a method of tagging a variety of pharmaceutical or nutritional products in which well-studied chemicals may be added to the products in unique ratios. The identities of the chemicals and their relative ratios comprise unique taggants. The taggants may identify which of multiple distinct categories the product falls within. The method includes the step of systematically varying the relative concentrations of the chemicals resulting in multiple ratios of the chemicals. The plurality of ratios of a defined set of chemicals may be collected to form a library of taggants associated with specified items or categories. As the number of chemicals added per product increases, the library supports more categories and the system is less likely to produce a false positive. The method may result in a series of taggants for each item which is single fault tolerant or double fault tolerant.

摘要: We disclose a telemedicine device for tracking, dispensing, and retrieving medical supplies as well as methods of its use. The device includes a medical supply dispensing and retrieving station which includes a medical supply dispenser and medical supply receptacle. Both the medical supply dispenser and medical supply receptacle may include multiple compartments which house medical supplies. The device may include a communication port for receiving prescription information. The device includes a personal identification indicator which verifies the identity of the user and links the identity to the user's prescription information. The device may include medical devices. The medical devices may conduct measurements to confirm efficacy of a medical supply or screen for side effects. The device may confirm proper usage of a medical supply by weighing an unused portion of the medical supply and comparing it to the weight expected for the amount that should be remaining.

摘要: The navigation system includes a series of bar codes and a bar code reader. The bar codes are placed at positions throughout the area to be navigated. The bar code readers scan the bar codes as a user moves through the area to be navigated. The navigation system may include a processor which includes instructions for receiving the user's current position and at least one location the user wishes to reach. The processor assembles the most efficient route from the user's position to the locations the user wishes to reach. The navigation system may include an augmented reality viewing device which receives signals from the processor and displays an augmented reality view to the user. The augmented reality view includes augmented reality images which provide step-by-step instructions from the user's position to the locations the user wishes to reach.

摘要: The health-monitoring system includes one or more cameras which collect graphic data and a controller which calculates body proportion measurements based on the graphic data. Specifically, the health-monitoring system measures a user's body parts and their relative positions. These measurements may be combined with those collected by other devices and sensors within the system which conduct other health-related measurements. The other devices and sensors may be housed within a container and a least one of the cameras may also be housed within the container. In some embodiments, the container is a fixture, such as a bathroom medicine cabinet . The camera may be invisible to a user as positioned within the fixture. Consequently, the user may move and behave normally without changes which may occur due to being self-conscious of the camera. Calculations may occur within the controller or on a remote server to which data is transmitted.
