    Abstract: An engine system having an ERG apparatus may include an engine including a plurality of combustion chambers generating a driving torque by combustion of a fuel; an intake line inflowing an intake gas supplied to the combustion chamber; an exhaust line flowing an exhaust gas exhausted from the combustion chamber; a turbocharger including a turbine provided at the exhaust line and rotated by the exhaust gas exhausted from the combustion chamber and a compressor provided at the intake line, rotated in connection with the turbine, and compressing external air; and an EGR apparatus including a recirculation line branched from the exhaust line and joined to the intake line, a flow rate controller mounted at the recirculation line and measuring and controlling an amount of recirculation gas, and a pressure sensor mounted at the recirculation line to measure a pressure of the recirculation gas.

    Abstract: An apparatus for diagnosing a failure of a sensor may include an engine; an intake manifold; a turbocharger including a turbine rotated by exhaust gas of the combustion chamber and a compressor provided at the intake line, rotated in connection with the turbine, and compressing external air; a map sensor measuring a pressure of a front end portion of the compressor; a differential pressure sensor measuring a differential pressure of front and rear end portions of an EGR valve provided at an EGR apparatus; an operation information detecting device measuring operation information including an engine speed and a load; and a controller determining whether an exhaust gas pressure is constant from the operation information and comparing a change amount of the differential pressure sensor signal and a change amount of the map sensor signal in the condition that the exhaust gas pressure is constant to diagnose a failure of the differential pressure sensor.

    Abstract: A fixing structure of a temperature sensor for a vehicle includes: a mounting bracket including one end to support a temperature sensor that senses a temperature of a cooling medium and the other end engaged with an object to be fixed. In particular, a polygonal-shaped coupling portion is formed in the temperature sensor, and a polygonal-shaped fit-coupling groove is formed in the bracket to couple with the polygonal-shaped coupling portion. Accordingly, a layout for mounting the temperature sensor can be improved, while enabling universal applicability to all vehicle types.

    Abstract: A system of heat management of a vehicle may include a cooling line in which coolant cooling an engine flows therethrough; an exhaust heat retrieving apparatus for retrieving heat of exhaust gas discharged from a combustion chamber of the engine through operation fluid; a heat storage apparatus which stores heat of exhaust gas retrieved by the exhaust heat retrieving apparatus using the operation fluid and includes phase change material; a coolant heat exchanger in which heat stored in the heat storage apparatus and the coolant are heat-exchanged; a driving information detector for detecting a driving information including a temperature of the coolant and a temperature of the phase change material; and a controller for controlling the temperature of the coolant through the exhaust heat retrieving apparatus or the heat storage apparatus based on the temperature of the coolant and the temperature of the phase change material when the vehicle starts.
