Abstract:
The temporary compacting of the powder for use in sintering is carried out, the temporary sintering is carried out, the main compacting is carried out, the main sintering is carried out, and the thickness of the radius direction of the base part of the cam before the heat-treatment is set to 3.0 mm or more.
Abstract:
A hybrid vehicle control apparatus which is capable of improving the deterioration of the emission performance unique to the hybrid vehicle during idle stop by purifying the exhaust gas remaining in the engine intake pipe, the cylinders, the exhaust pipe and the catalyst. The apparatus comprises two drive sources including an engine operated by fuel combustion and an electric motor/generator operated by electric energy. A residual exhaust gas purifier purifies the gas remaining in the intake pipe, the cylinders, the exhaust pipe and the catalyst of the engine.
Abstract:
This aims to provide a paper making machine belt (a shoe press belt) having excellent wet squeezability but less damages (such as cracks or wear) of the outer periphery of a belt being used. The paper making shoe press belt includes drainage conduits extended in the felt-side surface thereof. The drainage conduits are discontinuous grooves, and are made semi-arcuate on at least one of the belt ends in a belt running direction (an MD direction).
Abstract:
A wet paper web transfer belt comprises a base body, a wet paper web side layer, and a machine side layer. The wet paper web side layer is formed of a high molecular weight elastic section, and fibers and filler particles are exposed at its surface. The fibers and filler particles are exposed in the form of an island-sea structure comprising islands section where the fibers are exposed, and a sea section where the filler particles are exposed. The fibers and the filler particles, both exposed at the wet paper web side layer, hold water at different times in the papermaking process as the wet paper web moves out of the press part of the papermaking machine.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a cam lobe material that is excellent in sliding characteristics, such as wear resistance, scuffing resistance and pitting resistance, and can be advantageously used in engines to which high loads are applied, and a method of manufacturing the cam lobe material. The above-described task is fulfilled by providing a cam lobe material that is formed from an iron-based sintered alloy that contains 0.3 to 5.0 mass % Ni, 0.5 to 1.2 mass % C, 0.02 to 0.3 mass % of at least either of B and P, and incidental impurities as the balance, and has a hardness of a peripheral surface of not less than HRC 50 and a density of not less than 7.5 g/cm3. The iron-based sintered alloy can further contain not more than 2.5 mass % Mo. The above-described task can also be fulfilled by a method of manufacturing the cam lobe material, that a compression molding step and a sintering step are repeated at least twice, the compression molding step involving compression molding iron-based alloy powders prepared so as to provide the composition of the ferrous sintered alloy in a prescribed cam lobe shape, and the sintering step involving sintering the compression molded compact body, and that the sintered body is subjected to quench and tempering treatment.
Abstract:
In order to improve the decrease of the catalytic action and the deterioration of the exhaust purification performance, a catalyst installed in the exhaust pipe of an engine and a secondary air pump for supplying secondary air into the exhaust pipe are provided, and the secondary air pump is operated even after the engine has stopped.

Abstract:
If the output of an O2 sensor located downstream of a catalyst deviates from a predetermined range, the air-to-fuel ratio upstream of the catalyst is over-corrected to be a leaner value or a richer value beyond the predetermined purification-efficiency range when the output of the O2 sensor downstream of the catalyst indicates rich or lean, respectively, so that the output of the O sensor downstream of the catalyst returns within a predetermined range as soon as possible.
Abstract:
Provided is a control device for an engine which is capable of purifying NOx with high efficiency at a restart after an idle stop without deteriorating purification efficiency of HC and CO. At the restart after the idle stop, an air-fuel ratio is controlled to be rich, and an atmosphere inside of a catalyst is estimated on the basis of a required time ΔT from a time point at which an output value (VO2—2) of first oxygen concentration detection means upstream of the catalyst exceeds a predetermined value A1 to a time point at which an output value (VO2—2) of second oxygen concentration detection means downstream of the catalyst exceeds a predetermined value A2, whereby an air-fuel ratio at next and subsequent restarts is corrected so that the atmosphere inside of the catalyst is optimized at the next and subsequent restarts.
