摘要:
The present invention provides a negative C-plate type optical anisotropic film having negative birefringence along the thickness direction. In particular, the present invention provides n film comprising cycloolefin addition polymer, which is prepared by addition polymerizing norbornene-based monomers, a method for preparing the same, and a liquid crystal display comprising the same. The film of the present invention can be used for optical compensation films of a variety of LCD (liquid crystal display) modes because the refractive index alone the thickness direction can be controlled by the kind and amount of functional groups introduced to the cycloolefin addition polymer.
摘要:
The present invention relates to a norbornene polymer that comprises a norbornene monomer having a photoreactive functional group, and a method of manufacturing the same. The norbornene polymer comprises at least 50 mol % of exo isomers among the norbornene monomers having the photoreactive functional group. Since the norbornene polymer according to the present invention comprises at least 50 mol % of exo isomers among the norbornene monomers having the photoreactive functional group, a molecular weight is significantly increased while the yield is not reduced during the manufacturing of the polymer. In views of the three dimensional structure, stability is ensured because the polymer has a planar structure in which the photoreactive groups between the molecules are close to each other. Therefore, the distance between the photoreactive groups is reduced, thus increasing the photoreaction rate.

Disclosed is a method for producing a norbornene monomer composition, a norbornene polymer produced using the norbornene monomer composition, an optical film including the norbornene polymer, and a method for producing the norbornene polymer. The method includes reacting a reaction solution that contains cyclopentadiene, dicyclopentadiene, or a mixture of cyclopentadiene and dicyclopentadiene, an acetate compound, and a solvent so that a content of an exo isomer is 50 mol % or more. Variables such as a reaction temperature, a reaction time, a molar ratio between reactants, and addition of a solvent are controlled so that the exo isomer is contained in content of 50 mol % or more. Accordingly, it is possible to industrially produce an acetate norbornene addition polymer by using the acetate norbornene monomer composition containing the exo isomer in content of 50 mol % or more.

A catalyst system capable of producing a cyclic olefin polymer having a polar functional group and a high molecular weight with a high yield in which a catalyst is not deactivated due to polar functional groups of monomers, and a method of producing polymers using the same are provided. The catalyst system for polymerization of olefin according to the present invention has good thermal and chemical stability, and thus, in the method of preparing polyolefin using the catalyst system, the deactivation of a catalyst due to a polar functional group of the monomer can be prevented, and thus a high yield of the cyclic olefin polymer with a high molecular weight can be obtained when a ratio of the catalyst to the monomer is 1:5000, and the removal of a catalyst residue is not required.

In some embodiments, a chip includes first and second scan chain segments each including registers and multiplexers to provide to the registers scan input signals during scan input periods and captured output signals during a capture periods. The chip also includes circuitry to provide first and second test clock signals to the registers of the first and second scan chain segments, respectively, wherein the second test clock signal is provided by a different signal path in the circuitry during the scan input periods than during the capture periods, and during the scan input periods the second test clock signal is skewed with respect to the first test clock signal. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

Disclosed herein is a pulley cover assembly for a motorcycle transmission which can securely support a pulley to minimize an shivering phenomenon thereof caused when a load is applied to the rotating pulley, thereby attenuating noise due to the shivering phenomenon and improving a rotational performance of the pulley. Further, the pulley cover assembly can ensure convenient clutch operation through the use of a hydraulic clutch operating mechanism. The clutch operating mechanism includes a hydraulic casing integrally formed at the pulley cover and having a hydraulic oil inlet passage and a hydraulic oil outlet passage, and a piston disposed inside the hydraulic casing while being fixed to an end of the clutch rod of the motorcycle transmission. Such a clutch operating mechanism is adapted to supply hydraulic power into the hydraulic casing to permit the piston to linearly move the clutch rod by a predetermined distance. The pulley cover assembly comprises a pulley supporting means positioned at one side of the pulley opposite to a transmission cover to permit the pulley to be securely supported at both ends thereof by both the pulley supporting means and the transmission cover.
