Abstract: A method can be performed by a first node for determining a parameter of physical (PHY) layer circuitry of a second node. The method can include implementing a cascaded hierarchy of techniques to determine, based on an electrical signal from a second node, a parameter of the PHY layer circuitry of the second node, and causing an antenna of the first node to transmit an electromagnetic wave consistent with the determined parameter.

Abstract: Embodiments of a station (STA) and method of communication are generally described herein. The STA may be included in a first plurality of STAs affiliated with a first multi-link logical entity (MLLE). A plurality of links may be established between the first MLLE and a second MLLE, wherein the second MLLE may be affiliated with a second plurality of STAs. The STA may receive a first subset of a sequence of MAC protocol data units (MPDUs). A second subset of the sequence of MPDUs may be transmitted by another STA of the first plurality of STAs. The STA may transmit a block acknowledgement (BA) frame that includes: a number of BA bitmaps, configurable to values greater than or equal to one; and BA control information for each of the BA bitmaps.

Abstract: Examples may include techniques to enable synchronized execution of a command by nodes in a network fabric. A node capable of hosting a fabric manager for the network fabric (fabric manager node) may generate one or more packets including a command to be executed by at least some nodes in the network fabric. In some examples, a time stamp is also included with at least one of the one or more packets to indicate to receiving nodes to execute the command at a synchronized time.

Abstract: A full-duplex (FD) capable access point (AP) of a wireless basic service set (BSS) that includes a plurality of stations (STAs) is configured to implement opportunistic FD downlink (DL) transmissions to a non-FD capable STA in the BSS when decoding uplink (UL) data from a UL STA in the BSS. While decoding the UL data, the AP selects a DL STA from a queue of DL STAs based on a predetermined FD DL transmission rate from the AP to the DL STA while the AP is decoding the UL data from the UL STA. The AP then causes an amount of data to be transmitted as an FD transmission to the selected DL STA while the processor is decoding the data from the UL STA.

Abstract: A full duplex communication system transmits a first message from a first radio to a second radio and a second message from the second radio to the first radio, in full duplex transmission, and collaboratively and dynamically adjusts the radio configurations of the first and second radios to transmit the first message and transmit the second message to completion in substantially the same time. Alternatively the system operates a first, a second and a third radio in full duplex mode, wherein the first radio transmits a first message having a first message length to the second radio, and the second radio transmits a second message having a second message length to the third radio; and collaboratively and dynamically adjusts the radio configuration of at least one of the first and second radios, to transmit the first message and transmit the second message to completion at substantially the same time.

Abstract: A wireless communication device, system and method. The device may include a memory storing instructions, and processing circuitry coupled to the memory to execute the instructions. The processing circuitry may be configured to: generate a Time Sensitive Network (TSN) frame addressed to a wireless access point; preempt transmission of a downlink frame being transmitted by the access point and cause transmission of the TSN frame to the access point, preempting transmission of the downlink frame being in response to a determination that a priority of the downlink frame is lower than a priority of the TSN frame; and cause transmission of the TSN frame to the access point during transmission of the downlink frame by the access point in full duplex in response to a determination that the priority of the downlink frame is higher than a priority of the TSN frame.

Abstract: Devices and techniques for out-of-band platform tuning and configuration are described herein. A device can include a telemetry interface to a telemetry collection system and a network interface to network adapter hardware. The device can receive platform telemetry metrics from the telemetry collection system, and network adapter silicon hardware statistics over the network interface, to gather collected statistics. The device can apply a heuristic algorithm using the collected statistics to determine processing core workloads generated by operation of a plurality of software systems communicatively coupled to the device. The device can provide a reconfiguration message to instruct at least one software system to switch operations to a different processing core, responsive to detecting an overload state on at least one processing core, based on the processing core workloads. Other embodiments are also described.

Abstract: The systems and methods described herein provide power management circuitry that factors one or more cache parameters (e.g., cache utilization) of an application or VM when determining pCPU-vCPU core remapping. By considering a more robust mix of both processor and cache memory related parameters, system performance and stability are increased by improving CPU and cache utilization and efficiency while reducing cache related issues such as collisions and/or pollution.

Abstract: In accordance with some embodiments, a continuous thread is operated on the graphics processing unit. A continuous thread is launched one time from the central processing unit and then it runs continuously until an application on the central processing unit decides to terminate the thread. For example, the application may decide to terminate the thread in one of a variety of situations which may be programmed in advance. For example, upon error detection, a desire to change the way that the thread on the graphics processing unit operates, or in power off, the thread may terminate. But unless actively terminated by the central processing unit, the continuous thread generally runs uninterrupted.

Abstract: Mobile platform power management is an important problem especially for battery-powered small form factor platforms such as smartphones, tablets, wearable devices, Internet of Things (IOT) devices, and the like. A low-power wake-up radio cooperates with a mobility manager which is configured to receive information from one or more sensors and determine a mobility management frame. The mobility management frame specifies transmitter operation, such as a number and time interval over which to transmit a number of wake-up packets, which are usable by the low-power wake-up radio to control main radio operation in the wireless communications device.
