    摘要： An apparatus in a subscriber television system receives a composite signal having a plurality of component signals carried therein. The apparatus receives user input and selectively controls the power levels of the component signals in the composite signal while selectively controlling the power level of the composite signal. The apparatus uses user input that specifies a specific component signal and a power level indicator and implements logic that adjusts the relative power levels of the component signals.

    摘要： A method for performing video analytics comprises capturing video data using a video source disposed at an acquisition end. The captured video data is stored at the acquisition end, and non-adjacent single frames of the captured video data are transmitted from the acquisition end to a server via an IP network. The non-adjacent single frames of captured video data are transmitted one at a time at known time intervals, or a burst of a plurality of non-adjacent single frames is transmitted at another known time interval. At the server, video analytics is performed on a current one of the non-adjacent single frames for detecting an actionable event relative to a previous one of the non-adjacent single frames. In response to detecting an actionable event, a signal for requesting previously stored video data captured between the current one of the non-adjacent single frames and the previous one of the non-adjacent single frames is transmitted to the acquisition end via the IP network.

    摘要： Compositions and methods for the detection, prevention, or treatment of anthrax or other infectious diseases. In one aspect, the present invention provides methods for immunizing humans or animals against Bacillus anthracis or other capsulated pathogens. The methods include administering a capsular polypeptide of a pathogen of interest and a CD40 agonist to a human or animal. The capsular polypeptide or the CD40 agonist is administered in such an amount or frequency that an immunoprotective response can be elicited in the human or animal against the pathogen of interest. In another aspect, the present invention provides methods of using passive immunization with anti-capsular polypeptide antibodies to prevent or treat infections caused by Bacillus anthracis or other pathogens. In yet another aspect, the present invention provides methods useful for diagnosis of anthrax by detection of capsular polypeptide in serum or other biological samples.
