摘要: A new family of crystalline microporous metalloalumino(gallo)phosphosilicates designated MeAPSO-83 has been synthesized. These metalloalumino(gallo)phosphosilicates are represented by the empirical formula of: Rp+rA+mM2+wExPSiyOz where A is an alkali metal such as potassium, R is an quaternary ammonium cation such as ethyltrimethylammonium, M is a divalent metal such as Zn and E is a trivalent framework element such as aluminum or gallium. This family of metalloalumino(gallo)phosphosilicate materials are stabilized by combinations of alkali and quaternary ammonium cations, enabling unique, high charge density compositions. The MeAPSO-83 family of materials have the BPH topology and have catalytic properties for carrying out various hydrocarbon conversion processes and separation properties for separating at least one component.

摘要: Systems and methods are provided for activation of noble metal catalysts that are supported on siliceous supports. The activation method can include limiting the amount of water vapor pressure and/or the time of exposure to the water vapor pressure during heating of the catalyst at temperatures of 50° C. or less. This can be achieved by introducing heated gas into multiple reactors of a multi-reactor system at the same time. A suitable system for introducing heated gas into multiple reactors can correspond to a system with multiple heated hydrogen lines for delivery of heated hydrogen to a plurality of reactors within a multi-reactor system.

摘要: A process of producing Group III base oils, along with a naphtha product and diesel product, from whole waxy crude oil is provided. The inventive process omits the typical vacuum distillation stage and separations to form the typical cuts off of the vacuum tower. By selecting a waxy crude oil suitable for processing without separations, the crude oil may be hydroprocessed, dearomatized, dewaxed, and hydrofinished to produce a Group III base oil. Additionally, the dewaxing catalyst will isomerize the naphtha range molecules to increase the octane value to a suitable level for blending into gasoline and the diesel range molecules to reduce the diesel cloud point.

摘要: The invention relates to a process for the manufacture of diesel range hydrocarbons wherein a feed is hydrotreated in a hydrotreating step and isomerised in an isomerisation step, and a feed comprising fresh feed containing more than 5 wt % of free fatty acids and at least one diluting agent is hydrotreated at a reaction temperature of 200-400° C., in a hydrotreating reactor in the presence of catalyst, and the ratio of the diluting agent/fresh feed is 5-30:1.

摘要: Methods, catalysts, and corresponding catalyst precursors are provided for performing dewaxing of diesel or distillate boiling range fractions. The dewaxing methods, catalysts, and/or catalyst precursors can allow for production of diesel boiling range fuels with improved cold flow properties at desirable yields. The catalysts and/or catalyst precursors can correspond to supported base metal catalysts and/or catalyst precursors that include at least two Group 8-10 base metals supported on the catalyst, such as a catalyst/catalyst precursor including both Ni and Co as supported metals along with a Group 6 metal (i.e., Mo and/or W). The support can correspond to a support including a zeolitic framework structure. The catalyst precursors can be formed, for example, by impregnating a support including a zeolitic framework structure with an impregnation solution that also includes a dispersion agent.

摘要: Methods and catalysts are provided for performing dewaxing of diesel boiling range fractions, such as trim dewaxing, that allow for production of diesel boiling range fuels with improved cold flow properties at desirable yields. In some aspects, the methods can include use of dewaxing catalysts based on an MEL framework structure (ZSM-11) to provide improved dewaxing activity. In some aspects improved dewaxing is achieved operating at lower pressures and with higher amounts of organic nitrogen slip from hydrotreatment.

摘要: Methods are provided for using a dewaxing catalyst formed using at least two structure directing agents for production of a lubricant base stock. For example, ZSM-48 crystals formed using multiple directing agents (and/or formulated catalysts made using such crystals) can have an increased activity and/or can provide an improved yield during catalytic production of lubricant base stocks. Additionally or alternately, ZSM-48 crystals formed using multiple directing agents (and/or formulated catalysts made using such crystals) can provide improved aromatic saturation during processing of a feed for lubricant base stock production.
