摘要: A delay calculation method considering a net adjacent to a delay calculation object net of a semiconductor integrated circuit includes: an adjacent net internal resistance selecting step of selecting a combination of static state of an adjacent net driving cell; a coupling capacitance grounding step of multiplying a coupling capacitance by a coefficient obtained from an internal resistance of the adjacent net driving cell selected by the adjacent net internal resistance selecting step, and the like, and grounding the value obtained thereby as the coupling capacitance of the delay calculating object net; and a delay value deriving step of deriving the delay value from a circuit obtained by these steps. A problem of the delay calculation method that an accurate delay value cannot be obtained because in actuality, the adjacent wire whose potential fluctuates is approximated to zero potential is solved by this structure.

摘要: A system for detecting overheat of an internal combustion engine for an outboard motor. In the system, when an elapsed time since engine staring is within a predetermined time, a detected engine temperature is equal to or greater than a first predetermined temperature and an detected engine speed exceeds an idling speed; a threshold value (compared with the detected engine temperature to determine the engine overheating) is changed to be increased. With this, even if the detected engine temperature is higher than a true or actual temperature at, for example, a high engine load immediately after engine starting or when the engine has been left in the idling state, the system can prevent it from being determined unnecessarily as the overheated condition.

摘要: An engine ignition timing control system for outboard motor having a propeller connected to the engine to be rotated and mounted on a boat such that the boat is propelled forward or backward. The engine is equipped with a decompression mechanism and is started by a recoil starter. In the system, at the time of engine starting, the ignition timing is set to a predetermined crank angle until the detected engine speed exceeds a first prescribed engine speed, while it is set to a value obtained by retrieving a table by at least the detected engine speed after the detected engine speed exceeds the first prescribed engine speed. And, the ignition timing is advanced until the detected engine speed is equal to or greater than a second prescribed value and is then returned to the retrieved value. With this, the engine speed can be reliably increased at starting, without need for a throttle opener or air-fuel ratio enrichment, thereby enhancing engine starting performance.

摘要: The present invention provides a method and apparatus for securely crimping a crimp-style terminal to a small diameter conductor of a cable. A dummy conductor is prepared and a crimping portion of the terminal is crimped about both the dummy conductor and the conductor of the cable. The dummy conductor is a portion of second conductor of the cable, isolated from the conductor of the cable, or alternatively, a portion of a second conductor independent of the cable. A cutter cuts off the dummy conductor from the second conductor to electrically isolate the dummy conductor from the second conductor when the terminal is crimped about the dummy conductor and the conductor of the cable.

摘要: In a solid-state imaging device, a chrominance signal different from a signal to be obtained at a specified time among a plurality of chrominance signals to be successively obtained from a solid-state image sensor is interpolated with the chrominance signal obtained directly before the time of interpolation, or with the chrominance signal of a picture element corresponding to the signal to be obtained at the time of interpolation based upon the subject being achromatic. The particular signal to be used for the interpolation is decided based upon the difference between the signal to be obtained at the time of interpolation and a signal of the same chrominance obtained one cycle before the time of interpolation, or the differences between signals obtained directly before the time of interpolation and to be obtained directly after the time of interpolation and the chrominance signals obtained one cycle before the times of these signals.

摘要: An image forming device having a communication unit includes a system control unit which controls the entire image forming apparatus, the system control unit having a CPU that is set in one of a normal mode, a power-saving mode and a sleep mode by controlling a power supply unit. A real-time clock keeps track of hours, minutes and seconds of a current time and outputs a signal indicating the current time. A register stores a return time that indicates a time the CPU is to be switched from one of the power-saving mode and the sleep mode to the normal mode. A comparator compares the current time of the clock with the return time of the register, and outputs, when a match occurs, a control signal to the CPU so that the CPU is switched to the normal mode.
