    摘要: Objects of the present invention are to provide an integration circuit which produces no integration leak so that the bit accuracy is improved in a sigma-delta modulation circuit or a delta modulator circuit, which is based on a single flux quantum circuit that uses a flux quantum as an information carrier, and to provide a method for reducing thermal noise and quantization noise. According to the present invention, an integration circuit is formed by Josephson junctions and an inductor to reduce the integration leak, and a plurality of modulator circuits are connected to one another so as to add up each output. As a result, it is possible to reduce the influence of thermal noise exerted upon the bit accuracy, the thermal noise having no correlativity to one another. Moreover, by changing the density or phase of a SFQ pulse to be supplied to the Josephson junctions of the integration circuit, the correlativity of quantization noise between the outputs of the modulator circuits is eliminated so that the bit accuracy is improved.

    摘要: Provided is a nuclear magnetic resonance probe coil that is included in a nuclear magnetic resonance apparatus in which the direction of a static magnetic field is horizontal and that can highly sensitively measure multiple nuclear species. A nuclear magnetic resonance apparatus includes a unit that horizontally applies a static magnetic field, a unit that vertically moves a specimen to a predetermined position in the apparatus, and a probe including in the distal part thereof a probe coil that applies a radiofrequency signal to the specimen and that detects a signal produced by the specimen. The probe coil includes multiple pairs of superconducting thin-film rings formed on respective substrates that are disposed in parallel with the static magnetic field while being separated from each other by a predetermined distance, a detection loop that detects a signal received by the superconducting thin-film rings, and a transmission coil that applies the radiofrequency signal to the specimen and that has the normal thereto extended horizontally.

    摘要: A magnetic immunoassay system with a mechanism for compensating the direct current residual magnetic field in the vicinity of the specimen measurement position, in a direction perpendicular to the magnetic marker direction of magnetization for the measurement target. This invention reduces the effects of the magnetic field emitted from the unbound magnetic marker due to the residual magnetic field in the specimen solution and detects with high sensitivity the signal of the bound target magnetic marker. The magnetic field at the measurement position is regulated so as to intersect the direction of magnetization of the magnetic marker for the measurement target, in order to make the magnetization direction of the magnetic marker that is unbound due to residual magnetism or remanence in the sample solution, intersect the magnetization direction of the magnetic marker for the measurement target. The signal of the bound target magnetic marker can be therefore measured with high sensitivity since it is isolated from the unbound magnetic marker signal.

    摘要: A configuration of an NMR apparatus is provided. In the NMR apparatus, a magnetic field space of higher uniformity is generated by split superconducting magnets. At the same time, it is provided with a cryo probe excellent in cooling capability and sensitivity between two superconducting solenoid coils constructed in very close proximity to each other. For this purpose, a probe coil provided between the two superconducting solenoid coils is so constructed that the following is implemented: a certain distance is ensured between a substrate with a coil formed thereon and another, and the substrates and spacer substrates for cooling are alternately laminated. The spacer substrates are cooled by a cold head of sapphire. When the probe coil is inserted in the same direction as a sample tube (direction perpendicular to the static magnetic field), the spacer substrates cannot be coupled directly by the cold head of sapphire. Therefore, they are cooled through a fixed substrate for thermal conduction of sapphire coupled with the cold head.

    摘要: The present invention provides a high density magnetic recording apparatus capable of performing a magnetic write to a magnetic memory cell therein by directly applying current into the memory cell without using external magnetic field; and performing a record read from the cell structure. To reduce the current density required for magnetization reversal by spin injection, the magnetic recording medium is irradiated with laser light so as to heat a magnetic memory cell to a temperature higher than the room temperature but lower than the Curie temperature. While the coercivity of the magnetic recording medium is effectively lowered, magnetic write operation is performed by applying external current into the magnetic memory cell.

    摘要: A superconductor signal amplifier which receives an extremely small high-frequency signal having a frequency of tens of GHz generated in a superconductive circuit, amplifies the voltage of the high-frequency signal without a decrease in frequency, and outputs the thus amplified high-frequency signal from the superconductive circuit. At an output part of a single flux quantum circuit using a flux quantum as a binary information carrier, there are provided a superconductive junction line for flux quantum transmission and a splitter for simultaneously producing two flux quanta from a flux quantum. According to the number of plural series-connected SQUIDs, a plurality of flux quantum signals are generated and input to the plural series-connected SQUIDs so that the SQUIDs are simultaneously switched to a voltage state. In each SQUID pair comprising two SQUIDs, a part of an inductor is shared by the two SQUIDs for reduction in inductance, thereby increasing an output voltage of the series-connected SQUIDs. Furthermore, a magnetic shielding film formed under each SQUID is electrically isolated from ground to prevent a signal delay due to a parasitic capacitance.
