摘要: The present invention relates to a Brillouin spectrum measuring method and measuring apparatus that have a structure for more accurately measuring the parameters of Brillouin spectra at predetermined sections of an optical fiber. The measuring method comprises an optical fiber section including first and second optical fibers that are serially connected via a connection portion. The first and second optical fibers have a Brillouin spectrum for which the difference between the peak frequencies in a predetermined temperature and predetermined strain-applied state for which the respective usage environments are assumed is equal to or more than a predetermined frequency difference. In the measuring method, a Brillouin spectrum which is obtained in accordance with pumping light supplied to the optical fiber section is measured, and a point of connection between the first and second optical fibers is specified on the basis of the measurement data for the measured Brillouin spectrum.

摘要: There is disclosed a method of manufacturing a porous ceramic structure, comprising the steps of: preparing a formed structure using a ceramic material containing a pore former and a binder; and drying and firing the formed structure, wherein the process of firing the formed structure comprises the steps of: holding a firing atmosphere temperature in a temperature range of −50 to +10° C. with respect to a combustion start temperature of the binder from the time when the temperature reaches the combustion start temperature of the binder contained in the porous ceramic structure to be fired to the time when the binder is burnt out. According to this method, ceramic structures having not only a low porosity but also a high porosity can be manufactured without generating any crack during the firing.

摘要: There is realized a structure particularly suitable for inhibiting deformation of separators having a structure where the shapes of projections and recesses are inverted from each other on the front side and the back side of each separator as in a pressed metal separator. Between adjacent separators, there is formed either a power generation region where MEAs and frame members for holding at least a part of the MEAs are inserted or a refrigerant flow region where neither the MEAs nor the frame members are inserted. A deformation inhibiting region for inhibiting deformation of each separator is formed by a projection provided on the separator. Also, a projection for inhibiting the separator from deforming at the deformation inhibiting region or nearby is formed on each frame member. The projection is projected toward the back side of the deformation inhibiting region, where the deformation inhibiting region is a recess on the back side of the separator.
