    摘要: An alarm masking system is provided which is capable of implementing alarm priority processing or alarm inhibit processing in ATM transmission equipment. In ATM transmission equipment, a received virtual path or virtual channel is switched by means of a switching unit and then sent to an interface unit. In doing this, if a higher priority alarm is detected or received at a reception side interface unit, an intra-office tag is added to the alarm cell and then it is output, so that by detecting this intra-office tag it is possible to inhibit generation of lower priority alarms in response to the higher order alarm.

    摘要: A method for restoring a communication failure in a network comprises the steps of providing a predetermined order for selection of the links included in the network, searching for an alternative communication path upon a failure in communication occurring in the network, producing, at a first arbitrary node included in the alternative communication path, a first path setup message containing at least information about the number of the paths to be selected in a first link extending from the first node for setting up the alternative communication path, and an identification code of the path that is to be selected at first in the first link for establishing the alternative communication path, transmitting the first path setup message to a second node also included in the alternative communication path and connected to the first node by a second link, for affecting a setup of the connection therein. The second node selects paths with the number specified by the path setup message according to said predetermined order of selection and affects a connection to the paths in the first link according to the order of selection.

    摘要: Provided is an X-ray generator comprising an X-ray tube including a cylindrical body; an electron source in the body; a target at an end of the X-ray tube facing the electron source, the target generating X-rays by irradiation with electrons; a container in which the X-ray tube is arranged; insulating liquid filled between the X-ray tube and the container; and a holding member holding the body of the X-ray tube in the container, with a channel for the insulating liquid around the X-ray tube. The distance between the holding member and the end face at the end of the body in the direction in which the electron source and the target face is twice or more as large as the minimum width of the channel that is in contact with the outer surface of the X-ray tube at the end face side with respect to the holding member. This allows heat in the target to be quickly radiated, thus allowing X-rays to be generated stably for a long time.

    摘要: An X-ray generating apparatus controls driving of an X-ray tube. The X-ray tube includes an electron source emitting electrons due to application of a voltage, a transmission-type target generating an X-ray due to collision of electrons emitted from the electron source, and a shield member disposed between the electron source and the transmission-type target, the shield member having an opening that electrons emitted from the electron source pass through, and blocking an X-ray that scatters toward the electron source. When generating the X-ray, application of a voltage to the transmission-type target is started, and emission of electrons from the electron source is caused after passage of a predetermined period indicating a time period from starting voltage application until the transmission-type target reaches a predetermined voltage. When stopping X-ray generation, application of the voltage to the transmission-type target is stopped after stopping the emission of electrons from the electron source.
