摘要: In an embodiment of the method for hydroponic plant culture of the present invention, a hydroponic plant culture container is used which comprises an external container that holds water, and an internal container that is held inside the external container, is placed on and supported by the upper edge portion of the external container, and is filled with a growing medium with seeds sown on the upper surface side thereof These containers both are formed from a transparent or semitransparent synthetic resin. The internal container is a funnel-shaped container including a cup-shaped portion and a cylindrical portion extending downward from a central part of the bottom of this cup-shaped portion. The internal container is filled with a growing medium in a state in which a lower end of the cylindrical portion of the internal container is substantially in contact with a bottom face of the external container with a gap interposed therebetween, after which seeds are sown on the surface side of the growing medium, water is supplied through a watering port formed on one side of the cup-shaped portion of the internal container, so that water is supplied into the external container through a gap at the lower end of the cylindrical portion, and the water that has been supplied to and held in the external container is used to water the seeds sown in the internal container through the gap.

摘要: A variable-length packet switching system of the present invention converts variable-length packets to fixed-length packets without regard to the size of the individual variable-length packets and causes a packet switch to switch such fixed-length packets at high speed. The system realizes high-speed switching by use of, e.g., an H/W scheme. Particularly, the system is free from conversion losses when converting the variable-length packets to fixed-length packets and thereby minimizes a frequency band required of the packet switch without regard to the packet size.

摘要: Soap containing oolong tea contains 0.1 weight % through 40 weight % of oolong tea. In the case of solid soap, oolong tea is mixed with a soap material in the step of blending perfume or the like. In this case, oolong tea in the form of powder, preferably of 20 mesh to 300 mesh is employed by such an amount that the content of oolong tea within the soap is ranged from 5 weight % to 40 weight %. The obtained soap containing oolong tea can dissolve iron from skin and remove oily smell of fishes or the like from hands and tableware.

摘要: A system switching over method and apparatus for duplicated ATM (asynchronous transfer mode) switch, which enables keeping the delay quality of each cell unchanged without any cell loss, are realized. At the time of system switching over, the system-switching control unit in each system (a system previously in operation and a system newly in operation) mutually communicates each other and manages a temporary cell storage unit, in which cells to be read out are stored in accordance with the delay priority group, in each system, and reads out cells in the order of higher delay priority whichever the system is. A delay priority selector in the system of an operation state is controlled to provide a cell read out path for outputting cells depending on a system from which the cell being read out.

摘要: A dichroic mirror is a wedge-shaped quadrangular prism whose cross-section is a trapezoid having an upper base d and a lower base d+Δd. The dichroic mirror receives on its top surface parallel light emitted from a collimating lens and reflects, off the top surface, most of the parallel light towards a wavelength plate. Moreover, the dichroic mirror transmits, through the top surface, part of the parallel light to output the part of the parallel light from a bottom surface facing the top surface toward a front monitor. The dichroic mirror has, on the bottom surface thereof, an inclination of an angle φ with respect to the top surface in a direction where a normal vector N of the bottom surface intersects with an xy-plane formed of: an optical axis x of incident light from the collimating lens; and an optical axis y of light emitted towards the wavelength plate.
