    摘要: Provided is a gas sensor in which a connection terminal can be favorably fitted onto a cylindrical sensor element without causing a breakage of the connection terminal. An oxygen sensor (1) includes an outer connection terminal (29) having an outer fitting portion (53), an extension portion (55) extending inwardly from an axially intermediate point of the outer fitting portion (53) and pulling prevention portions (75) and (77) formed on rear end parts of the outer fitting portion (53) at positions adjacent to the extension portion (55). When the extension portion (55) of the outer connection terminal (29) is inserted in and pulled out from a through hole (23) of a separator (27), the extension portion (55) can be prevented from further pulling in the through hole (23) by contact of the pulling prevention portions (75) and (77) with a front end surface of the separator (27).

    摘要: The expected performance of a jet-propelled boat is maintained, exhaust control valves are controlled and driven in an improved accuracy on the basis of the traveling speed of the jet-propelled boat. Thus, the fuel consumption is improved and the exhaust gas is purified. A two-stroke cycle engine drives a jet propulsion unit to make the jet propulsion unit suck in water and jet water therefrom to propel a hull of the boat. An exhaust control valve is disposed near the exhaust port of the engine to change the opening ratio of the exhaust port according to the operating condition of the engine. A driving mechanism for driving the exhaust control valve includes a hydraulic actuator. The power of water jetted by the jet propulsion unit represents the traveling speed of the jet-propelled boat accurately. The exhaust control valve is driven for opening and closing according to the pressure of water jetted by the jet propulsion unit to achieve the optimum exhaust control by the exhaust control valve without entailing an excessive increase in the output of the engine.

    摘要: This pressure sensor comprises a housing having a cavity at at least one end portion thereof, a pressure detecting element provided with the cavity and generating an electric signal corresponding to the pressure detected, a transmitter for transmitting the signal to the outside of the housing, and hermetically sealed with one end thereof connected to the pressure detecting element, a sealed medium provided within the cavity to prevent deterioration of the pressure detecting element, a diaphragm provided to cover the surface of the cavity, and a sealing element for sealing the sealed medium within the cavity and provided in a portion connected to the cavity of the housing, and further, a sealing ability of either the hermetic seal portion of the transmitter or of the sealing element is improved by utilizing a back pressure of a pressure medium. The sealing ability is improved by either making both surfaces of a diaphragm and of a sealing element form a common surface of the housing, by forming a grooved portion surrounding the hermetic terminal, or by attenuating the diameter of the top end portion of the housing. Leakage of the sealing liquid from the hermetic terminal or the sealing element is thus effectively prevented, and the reliability of the mechanical strength of the connecting portion of the housing and the device on which the housing is installed is improved, and thus a high reliability semiconductor pressure sensor to be used for detecting the pressure of a high pressure medium can be obtained.
