摘要: By inserting a DNA or RNA sequence comprising a subsequence showing a homology of at least 60%, preferably at least 80%, and most preferably at least 90% of the DNA sequence of SEQ. ID. NO. 1 into a cell, that cell will obtain a broad specificity for changing nucleoside analog prodrugs to active drugs by phosphorylation. Likewise this changement will occur at a high catalytic rate. Preferably the DNA sequence is inserted into the cell by transformation with a suitable virus or another suitable vector. Such viruses and vectors also constitute a part of the present invention.

摘要: A headset equipped with one or more materials that can change in size to facilitate the wearing experience by the user. The change in size may provide for a more accurate fit for the user to prevent or reduce the likelihood of the headset inadvertently moving away from the user's ear (e.g., falling out from the ear canal). The changeable size may also be used to convey aspects of the received sound to provide a more powerful listening experience. The material may be constructed from an electroactive polymer that changes in size when stimulated by an electric field. The headset includes a controller with an input for a user to control the size of the material.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to delay compensation during synchronization of uplink and downlink frames in a base station in a cellular communication network. In general, the base station includes a radio equipment and a radio equipment controller that together form at least part of the base station. In one embodiment, the radio equipment includes a first interface configured to receive data from the radio equipment controller and a second interface configured to send data to the radio equipment controller. During synchronization, the radio equipment receives, at the first interface of the radio equipment, a synchronization message from the radio equipment controller. The radio equipment then passes the synchronization message from the first interface of the radio equipment to the second interface of the radio equipment with a synthetic delay that is in addition to an in-equipment delay from the first interface to the second interface.

摘要: The invention discloses a method (400) for a cellular system (100), with a first node (110) which schedules traffic to and from users (120) in a cell (130). The first node uses a first channel (230) in a first kind of data frame (200) to transmit scheduling information to users in a cell. The first kind of data frame (200) comprises a plurality of symbols (210), a number of which are used for the first channel, and according to the invention the first node assigns (405) scheduling information to the symbols (210) in the first channel. The number of symbols used for the first channel is variable (410) and calculated (415) before the scheduling information is assigned to the symbols in the first channel, and is dependent (420) on the number of symbols were needed for scheduling information during a period of time before said calculation is made.

摘要: The invention discloses a method (300) for a cellular system (100) with a first node (110) which controls traffic to and from users (120) in a cell (130). Traffic between the users (120) and the first node (110) comprises user resources and control resources, with uplink traffic, comprising channels sent in data frames (200). Each data frame comprises a number of resource blocks (1, 2, 3, 4), and each uplink channel is allotted an amount of resource blocks in each data frame. At least part of the traffic between the users and the first node is divided (305) into first and second groups, and a cell's usage of the first and second group is monitored (310). The amount of resource blocks which is allotted to one of the uplink channels in a cell (130) is varied (315) depending on the cell's usage of these two groups.

摘要: Methods, computer-readable medium, a transmitter, a receiver and a transceiver include the transmitter and the receiver in a digital communication system for reducing the transmit power level when there is no user data is to send, i.e., when dummy data is sent instead. That is achieved by defining a symbol alphabet Q and scrambling a modulated bit stream including user data and dummy data with randomly generated symbols from the symbol alphabet Q.
