    摘要: A method includes receiving neighbor cell measurement results at a first relay node, the results originating from mobile device(s) located in a communications coverage area of the first relay node and that are served by the first relay node. Using the received neighbor cell measurement results, an amount of interference is estimated that is experienced by the first relay node due to operation of a second relay node. An interference report is sent that includes an indication of the estimated amount of interference from the first relay node to a network access node that serves the second relay node. The interference report is sent over a wireless link between the first relay node and the network access node that serves the first relay node, and from the network access node that serves the first relay node to the network access node that serves the second relay node.

    摘要: There is proposed a mechanism providing functions of a so-called hybrid home node B (HHNB) where subscribers, depending on their belonging to a specific subscriber group, such as a closed subscriber group or an open subscriber group, are admitted for a connection to the communication network via different connection routes and systems. After a request for connecting a subscriber is received, an identification process is performed whether the subscriber belongs to a first subscriber group (CSG) or to a second subscriber group (OSG). On the basis of this identification, the subscriber is assigned to a first connection route or a second connection route. It is then checked whether available resources on the assigned connection route are sufficient, wherein on the basis of this check the request for connecting is allowed or rejected.

    摘要: There is disclosed a method of centralized scheduling of the access to a common radio channel in multi-hop wireless networks. The requests by the relay nodes (RN(1,1) . . . RN(n,Nn), RNi) of resources for sending uplink flows towards the base station (BS), and/or downlink flows towards relay nodes (RN(1,1) . . . RN(n,Nn), RNi) are computed by a requesting node for all links up to the destination and sent as cumulative requests for all links concerned. In case the traffic for which access to the common channel is demanded relates to different classes of service, each cumulative request includes the concatenation of a plurality of individual cumulative requests each concerning traffic belonging to a different class of service.

    摘要: There is proposed a mechanism for controlling a radio link failure recovery procedure in a communication network having relay nodes, wherein a network control node, such as a DeNB, forwards cached UE context information to a target network node which is contacted by an UE for re-establishment after radio link failure and requests, since it does not have the context information, the context information for the UE in question. Context information can also be proactively forwarded from the network control node to candidate neighboring network nodes when it is detected that a radio link failure between a relay node and the network control node, or between the relay node and a UE is possible.
