摘要: An electrophotographic image forming apparatus has a photosensitive drum; a charging device for charging a surface of the photosensitive drum; an LED array for projecting a light beam on the surface of the photosensitive drum, thereby forming irradiated spots constituting an electrostatic latent image. The irradiated spots are formed on intersections of a grid which is composed of a plurality of first lines extending in a main-scanning direction and arranged at equal first intervals and a plurality of second lines extending in a sub-scanning direction and arranged at equal second intervals. The apparatus also has a developing device for attaching a toner particle extending to each of the irradiated spots, a transfer device for transferring the toner particle to a transfer material, and a fixing device for fixing the toner particle on the transfer material. A diameter of the toner particle is determined in such a way that a diameter of a fixed toner particle is equal to approximately a length of a diagonal line of the grid. Further, the diameter of the toner particle in the developing device is in a range of 0.7 times to 1.0 times as long as the first interval and/or the second interval.

摘要: A print head for non-impact printer is, for example, an LED head which comprises a plurality of light-emitting elements, LED drivers for selectively causing a drive current to flow into the light-emitting elements on the basis of the print data, a non-volatile memory for storing the modification data related to the value of the drive current. The modification data are determined in advance at the manufacturing process on the basis of the measured result when the light-emitting elements were driven by the LED driver so that all the light-emitting elements emit substantially same amount of light at the printing operation.

摘要: An image forming apparatus for collecting, through a developing device, and reusing remaining toner remained on a photosensitive drum, as an image carrier, for forming an electrostatic latent image, without being transferred to a transfer material, includes a toner uniforming member disposed between locations for a charging process and for an exposing process, for making the toner remained on the photosensitive drum during a transferring process adhere slightly and uniformly to the photosensitive drum. The toner uniforming member eliminates the remaining toner remained on the photosensitive drum temporarily, and is applied with a necessary voltage for making the remaining toner eliminated temporarily adhere to the surface of the photosensitive drum again.

摘要: A projection display apparatus includes an image forming section that forms an image based on image information received from an external device, and a projection lens that projects the image formed by the image forming section. The projection display apparatus includes a substrate, a plurality of light emitting elements, a first driver and a second driver. The light emitting elements are two-dimensionally arranged on the substrate. The light emitting elements include rows of light emitting elements and columns of light emitting elements such that the rows are substantially perpendicular to the columns. The first driver element selectively drives the rows. The second driver element selectively drives the columns. The plurality of light emitting elements include three groups of light emitting elements aligned either in the rows or in the columns, each group emitting light of a different wavelength from the remaining groups.

摘要: In a semiconductor device fabricating process, a chemical amplification resist layer is formed on an insulating film formed on a semiconductor substrate, and the chemical amplification resist layer is patterned to form an opening. The insulating film formed on the semiconductor substrate is wet-etched using the patterned chemical amplification resist layer as a mask. Before the wet-etching is carried out, a surface treatment is conducted for the patterned chemical amplification resist layer to form an insoluble layer at a surface of the patterned chemical amplification resist layer, thereby to elevate a wet-etching-resistance of the patterned chemical amplification resist layer. Thus, deformation of a resist pattern formed of the patterned chemical amplification resist layer is prevented in the wet etching process, so that an opening pattern of a desired shape is formed in the insulating film.

摘要: Bit data of a received video signal is partially converted into a first signal representing a data sequence corresponding to the resolution of an LED head. The first signal is transmitted to the LED head in the form of a real printing data signal that is to be printed on a basic raster line in synchronism with a line timing signal. The remaining bit data of the received video signal, which are not converted into the first signal, are converted into a second signal representing another data sequence, and then stored in a line buffer. The second signal stored in the line buffer is transmitted to the LED head in the form of a real printing data signal that is to be printed on an additional raster line in synchronism with an additional line timing signal. The LED head drive energy with which the basic raster lines are printed and another LED head drive energy with which the additional raster lines are printed are set independently of each other. The LED head may be provided with such a resolution function.

摘要: A color printer arranges respective printing mechanisms for printing yellow, magenta, cyan, black and rotatably arranges below the respective printing mechanisms a carrier belt attaching a recording medium thereto and moving it. The carrier belt is formed with timing marks, and photointerrupters are provided to read the timing marks. DIP switches are formed for setting positional errors of the respective printing mechanisms. Printing timings of the respective printing mechanisms are controlled on the basis of the read outputs of the timing marks from the photointerrupters and the set values in the DIP switches.
