    摘要: Provided is a direct-conversion frequency mixer for down converting a radio frequency (RF) signal into a baseband signal, in which a single phase RF signal and a quadrature location oscillation (quadrature LO) signal are used to generate the baseband signal, the frequency mixer comprising a first frequency mixing unit that uses quadrature LO signals having respective phases of 0 degrees and 180 degrees to directly down-convert the single phase RF signal into the in-phase baseband signal, and a second frequency mixing unit that uses quadrature LO signals having respective phases of 90 degrees and 270 degrees to directly down-convert the single phase RF signal into the quadrature-phase baseband signal, whereby drains and sources of the transistor for receiving the quadrature LO signaland the transistor for receiving the RF signal are connected in common, thus enabling low power source voltage driving.

    摘要: An optical joystick includes a first waveguide including a first reflecting surface located below a reading area for sensing the movement of an object and a first plano-convex lens portion condensing light reflected from the first reflecting surface, a second waveguide including a second plano-convex lens portion facing the first plano-convex lens portion and a second reflecting surface for reflecting light refracted at the second plano-convex lens portion, and an image sensor located below the second reflecting surface. The first reflecting surface and the first plano-convex lens portion form a single body, and the second plano-convex lens portion and the second reflecting surface also form a single body. The reflecting surface and the lens portion are in a single body, thereby notably reducing the thickness of the optical joystick. The first and second waveguides are facing each other, thereby improving refraction and condensing light.

A negative resistance generating circuit generates a signal having the oscillation frequency determined by the LC resonance circuit. A buffer circuit transfers the oscillation frequency generated by the negative resistance generating circuit to a load. A variable capacitor connecting circuit connects the negative resistance generating circuit and the buffer circuit to transfer the signal having the oscillation frequency from the negative resistance generating circuit to the buffer circuit.

The pattern wheel driver also includes an encoder for producing a signal indicating whether the pattern wheel rotates in a forward direction or a reverse direction based on signals produced by the detector.
