    摘要: A supported body, like the body of a bedridden patient, is monitored by a plurality of pressure sensors located between the body and support surface during an extended period of time. Pressure areas on the body are determined in real time for predetermined time periods during periods of movement between the body and the support surface. Common pressure areas on the body during different body positions on the support surface are determined for predetermined time periods. The pressure areas that exceed a predetermined pressure level for a predetermined time period trigger an alarm indicator and identification of the pressure areas of concern.

    摘要: A signal representing a physiological state of a patient is sampled to obtain a time lagged dataset that represents a segment of the signal. A spectral analysis of the dataset is conducted to obtain a corresponding frequency domain dataset, followed by a multiple regression analysis using the frequency domain set as one variable and a signal representative of a medical event as the other variable. The result of the multiple regression analysis is used to create a model for predicting the medical event.

    摘要: This invention relates to a system that continuously monitors pressure and force on the foot, analyzes and visualizes the pressure and force exerted on said foot in real-time. The invention measures pressure and force applied to a plurality of sensors placed in various points of an orthotic, shoe, shoe lining, insert, sock or sock type device. If the sensors detect pressure or force, the sensors send a signal to a microcomputer processor located in the shoe that subsequently analyzes and sends the data wireless to either a handheld electronic device, a personal computer, an electronic data capture system or a software program. The handheld electronic device or the personal computer then displays the data to an operator of the device or computer instantaneously; while the data capture system or program forwards the information to a handheld device and/or personal computer.
