Even though the light sources are located at the edges of a panel, the surface of the panel appears to be uniformly light by light sources distribute directly behind the panels rather than along the edges.

The present invention relates to consensus nucleotide and protein sequences for HIV-1 Clade A antigens, and to nucleotide and protein sequences for Clade A antigens from circulating HIV-1 field isolates wherein the antigen sequences are closely related to the these consensus sequences. Advantageously, the present invention relates to HIV-1 Clade A transgenes that are derived from such sequences, and that encode either HIV-1 Clade A Gag, Pol (RT and Int), and Nef (collectively “GRIN”), HIV-1 Clade A Gag, RT, and Nef (collectively “GRN”), or HIV-1 Clade A Env. The invention also relates to vectors containing such transgenes, including adenovirus vectors containing such transgenes. The invention also relates to immunogenic compositions comprising the HIV-1 Clade A antigens, nucleotide sequences, vectors, or transgenes of the invention, and to methods of generating an immune response against HIV in a subject by administering an effective amount of such immunogenic compositions.

The present application relates to a filtration system (1) having at least one flexible filter (9) and cleaning apparatus (25) for projecting a flow of fluid onto the at least one flexible filter. The fluid to be filtered passes through the at least cone flexible filter (9) and causes the at least one flexible filter (9) to be deflected in a first direction. The flow of fluid projected onto the at least one flexible filter (9) from the cleaning apparatus (25) causes the at least one flexible filter (9) to be deflected in a second direction. The first and second directions are substantially opposite to each other. The present invention further relates to a filtration system (1) for filtering particulates from a liquid. The filtration system has a sealed vessel (2) suitable for supporting a pressure less than atmospheric pressure. A filter (9) is provided for filtering particulates from the liquid. The application also relates to a method of filtering fluid.

Light projected through a plurality of nested housings each containing elongated light transmissive openings that are intersecting along their lengths only allows the projected light to exit the device at the points where the light transmissive openings intersect. When relative rotational motion is set forth between the nested housings the intersecting points move with respect to the design of the elongated light transmissive openings and also by which housing(s) are rotated and by the speed of rotation. This allows for radial movement, axial movement and any combination of radial and axial movement of projected light points when viewed in an installation environment.
