Abstract: An all-terrain vehicle includes a plurality of ground-engaging members and a frame supported by the plurality of ground-engaging members and having a front end and a rear end. The all-terrain vehicle further includes a straddle seat coupled to the frame and an attachment rack supported by the frame. The attachment rack has a first portion which defines an outer surface of the attachment rack and is comprised of a first material and a second portion which is positioned at least partially inward of the first portion and is comprised of a second material.

A helmet generates a helmet movement signal in response to sensing movement of the helmet. The helmet communicates a helmet identifier to the vehicle controller through the receiver in response to the helmet movement signal. The vehicle controller controls a vehicle function in response to the vehicle function settings.

Abstract: In examples, a fleet of vehicles comprises a hub vehicle and a set of remote vehicles, where a hub vehicle aggregates and disseminates information among remote vehicles. For example, the hub vehicle may specify a geofence and/or any of a variety of other vehicle configuration information, which may be provided to remote vehicles accordingly. Further, a remote vehicle may monitor a power source state and ensure that it does not travel outside of a range to the hub vehicle, thereby reducing instances where the remote vehicle has traveled too far to be replenished. The hub vehicle may also facilitate cross-vehicle communication between operators. For example, communications may be relayed among other vehicles of the fleet. In other examples, the hub vehicle may provide task management functionality, where a shared task list is synchronized among the vehicles, thereby enabling operators to view tasks, add tasks, and remove tasks, among other functionality.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to youth electric recreational vehicles. In an exemplary embodiment, a youth recreational vehicle, comprises: one or more front ground engaging members, one or more rear ground engaging members, and a frame supported by the one or more front ground engaging members and the one or more rear ground engaging members. In addition, the youth recreational vehicle comprises a seat supported by the frame and configured to support at least one rider and an electric powertrain. The electric powertrain is configured to drive at least one of: (i) the one or more front ground engaging members and (ii) the one or more rear ground engaging members. The electric powertrain comprises: a controller, at least one electric motor, and at least one battery pack.

Abstract: A system for regulating the speed of a vehicle includes defining a first border for a first geographic region. The border has a first speed within the border and a second speed outside of the border. The system includes determining a first velocity of the vehicle including a vehicle speed and direction of the vehicle approaching the border. The difference between the vehicle speed and the second speed is the calculated, as is a distance between the vehicle and the border. If the difference between the vehicle speed and the second speed divided by the distance is greater than a predetermined value, the vehicle is decelerated at a rate so that the vehicle will have a second speed when the vehicle reaches the border.
